I am curious .... if you cross a female bb with a NL would you get the same seeds if you cross a female NL with a bb?
Just wondering how that works .... :rastasmoke: :stoned:

It's SUCH a long answer... certain genetic traits are 'sex-linked' ie, found on the same allele that determines gender, so they might not show up in one sex of the other, or only be passed on... such as the trait for color blindness in humans, which is generally expressed in males only except in rare occasions, but may be carried by the female, so anyway you might get a slightly different mix of genes from one gender parent or the other but in practice with cannabis I've just used whatever parent is available based on that INDIVIDUAL's characteristics... vigor, structure, smell, etc. ... no matter which sex it is.
Not a great answer but you should pick up a copy of Greg Green's Cannabis Breeders Bible, which is well written and a great reference.
