I used to smoke heaps of cigarettes a while ago, but ever since I quit I can't stand them. I hate everything about them, the smell makes me feel dirty too.

Personally, I don't think it's me hating the cigs as such but hating on myself for getting so addicted to them, but yeah, just like you, i smoke heaps of ganj but hate on cigarette smoking.

When I was younger, I smoked for several years. 7yrs or so. Thankfully, I decided to give up the nasty habit and that was about 2 yrs ago now. It was easily one of the hardest things to do. It took me several times to quit, but I'm sure glad I did.

Now, I can't stand them, at all. The smell alone makes my stomach turn, and if you're like me, someone who has to ride the bus, people who come in from outside who just had a smoke, I'd rather sniff the anus of a dirty dog. :p Well, matbe not, but you smell fuckin bad people!

It's a filthy habit, it really is. It's not something you want to take up, and you don't look cool either. When I was younger I thought I was certified "bad motherfucker" for smoking, but now when I see kids smoking, I see Idiot across their forehead.

I find it funny that when I see most of the kids in HS smoking, you can see the expression on their face when they inhale it. It's a face of displeasure and discust, and the only reason they're doing it, is to fit in. :p

The smell and the taste are 2 different things. I things fags smell kinda nasty, but theyre ok when you actually smoke them. I've been smoking cigs for like 1 year, maybe more, like 2 a day on schooldays and more when im with friends. However, I'm not addicted at all. I can go days, weeks without one (and im not like those peeps who says ''yeaaaaa I can quit whenever I want'' but never can, i often go days or weeks without a smoke.)

Augh, ive been smoking on and off for years, not getting addicted. Just smoked when i wanted, stoped when i wanted.

Now, I cant stop and it sucks and i feel so unhealthy.

I just got back from a 10 day holiday, in which i did not smoke one cigarette, because i told myself i could.

It's been 10 days and its so hard. It's not as hard now as it was last week.... but it's still damn hard.

I don't hate them. I like smoking cigs. But i dont want cancer. I dont want to die in such a way.

i abhor the smell of cigarettes unless they were all natural tobacco, not that crap they grow with radiation and pesticides.

i will never smoke tobacco habitually, i do not have much appreciation for the smell in the first place, corporate cigarettes are just tons worse smelling and 100% more unhealthy.

Very much a love hate relationship. Smoked lightly from 14 - 16 then heavily from 16 - 18. When I transferred this year from a college where I had one of the worst years of my life I decided it was time to lose the butts as well. The day before visiting the school I currently attend I threw my pack out the window on the way home from work and was done with them. Now the smell is appalling and I can't help but associate them with that awful year. It will be six months free of them this sunday ! Oh and the only thing I miss about them is the great conversations I used to have over them and the ability to chat with any other smoker and almost immediately bond. But never the less glad to be free of them.

I can't stand them, I use to smoke, but now don't and hate the smell. I really hate it when I get in one of my work trucks and it reaks of cig smoke. Even when I did smoke in a vehicle I kept all the windows down so the car didn't stink up, I just can't understand how some people can smoke cigs with their windows rolled up!!

Someone said tobacco should be illegal and weed legal, which made me think how much better it would be to jump in a work truck and have it smell of weed. I wouldn't complain at all :D

I hate them too. I only smoke a pipe, and I prefer hashish. But sometimes I smoke pure weed for the buzz if I am out at a party. In Holland they keep the weed smokers off the streets by letting them do it in coffeeshops. But in the Scotland they have banned people from smoking cigarrettes in pubs, forcing more of them out into the street smokers. I think people should be allowed to smoke tobacco in a pub if they want, I prefer not to breathe it in, but it is the street smokers that really piss me off. I like my fresh air fresh you know. In a pub I don't give a scone.
