HOw do u hold joints

there is 2 main ways i know i hold mines like a cigarette between my midle and index. most ppl use their thumb and index. its a wierd question but its kinda cool to see who does what. i dont think anyone has asked this before.

Depends. If its the begining of it i hold it like pic 1. If its becoming a roach then pic 2.

I don't ever really smoke joints but when I smoke blunts I hold it the 2nd way while hitting it, and after hitting it I naturally switch to the 1st way and plug the back of the blunt with my thumb to stop any of the wasted smoke from escaping in case the blunt isn't rolled very well.

what about the cherried side? lol you're losing ALOT more smoke on that cherried end then the end you you hit from... if anything, you'd want to allow that extra smoke come out that end, so it helps resonate the end... i mean if you want to get the most bang for your buck.. although it doesn't really make hardly any diffrence either way.

I usually hold them like #2, but when in a public area (e.g., in a car, walking down the street etc.), I prefer to hold it like #1. It seems less suspicious.

Yeah I know but I can't cover the cherry lol. It's natural for me anyways and I just like holding it like that it feels like it's more stable in case something tried to knock it out of my hands ha, if it happens to trap some smoke in there then that's a little bonus I guess.

And when it starts burnin my fingers.... i use the nails of my thumb and index finger to hold the joint. Which is why i grow my right hand index and thumb nails. lol ;)

It's hard not to hold it like the guy is holding it in the first pic. I don't know why but I always hold it like that until it's like really small. Then I hold it like the one on the 2nd pic lol.
