Anyone see Ann Widdecombe on telly last night (ITV 8.30 UK) going round dodgy estates trying to talk sense into all the young delinquents? it was quite funny. I loved the bit where she was talking to the homies in some doorway who was all smoking, and one of them popped his head out the door and said "Nah, dis is da block, B-L-O-C-K." And the bit where they threw a firework at her shortly before the police arrived to disperse them, the copper she told about this couldn't help laughing at her you could totally see. i bet they all had a good laugh down the nick afterwards at the silly old cow.
