What kind of wrestling, TV or high school?

If its TV then thats just bullshit.

If your talkin about wrestling as an actual sport its ok, but you have to work really hard. Some kids on the wrestling team at my school had an outbreak of herpes, so I don't think I'd wanna join.

fake as fuck, i dont like it, although some of my friends do and when we drink we watch some of the episodes they got on tape where they get hurt for real....then we eventually get bored, go out in the backyard and beat the hell out of eachother

Pro wrestling can be entertaining when done right. High school, freestyle and greco-roman is all good in my book. Used to wrestle back in the HS days. Some of the best life-long brothers I ever made were team mates.

My son loves it, lol! He's actually got me watching it now, and it's not THAT bad, lol! To be honest, it can be quite entertaining; specialy Stacy Keebler and dem long ass legs of hers.. ..

My grandmother used to goto Madison Square Garden in the 40s and 50s to watch wrestlers like Gorgous George. My grandma was only 4'10" tall and she came alive when wrestling was on. She would curse them and jump around in her chair like it was life & death.
I have always known wrestling to be fake or choreographed but my grandma liked it, so it was cool with me for a long time. I have not watched wrestling since the 80s, it got too flamboyant for me.

Wrestling's amazing. Think about it this way, most TV shows are fake anyways, 24, Seinfeld, CSI, The Simpsons, so saying that wrestling's fakeness is one of its faults is fuckin' retarded...

Once you get past that part, and start getting to know the characters, its like every other TV show..

Wrestling is cool when you're a pre-teen...but when you get older you have to ask yourself, why am I watching a bunch of grown men wrestling in tights? Peace.

Some of the wrestling your grandmother used to see may have been real. It was only around the time of gorgous george and such that wrestling started to go fake. Before then, the wrestling was real, but the matched could go on for a half hour or more and people just didn't want to watch that long so they started taking dives to shorten the matches so they could have more.

At least thats how I understand it.

I used to watch wrestling back when I was a kid. It was actually pretty good back then. Now it's all shitty repetitive story lines, and all talk and hardly any wrestling.

I used to love the WWF back in the late 80s-early 90s. They were hardly ever in the ring with a mic talking shit noone cares about. Back then..it was just matches. Obviously staged (fake is not a good word...most wrestlers have broken most of the bones in their body and/or life threatening injuries)...but it was fun back then when I didn't know that haha. It's like Santa Claus...once you find out there is no Santa...your hopes kinda go down a little lol...just like finding out wrestling is staged. Nowadays..it's pretty 'gayer than gay'...they are in the ring the whole time talking...and then when they do wrestle...it's quick and shitty (not to mention, they seem to be running out of valid, entertaining characters lol). I remember some matches that would go for like an hour...

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart was always the man.
