Im back... silver pearl..sweet tooth.. and a breed of my own..

hey welcome everyone.. my other log was getting a little big so i started a new one..
this grow i will be doing
1- sweet tooth
1- silver pearl
and 1- of my own breeds that i dubbed "criced".. its crystal limit crossed with ice.:D

the criced was the first to pop up..

And so the saga begins.. again..lol:rasta:

and keeko i was mis informed.. the seed is actually called sweet dreams.. it was a freebie so i wasnt quite sure what the name was.. now i am.. but i have never heard of this before now.. so maybe it will be interesting...

Lookin good so far Notorious. How often and how much do you water seedlings? I seem to over water mine is why I'm asking and yours look good for one week old. Looking forward to a feline free grow!!

thanx doco .. i water about every 3 to 4 days about 8-10 oz of water.. just to saturate the soil then let it dry out again.. yeah i have been taking extra precautions about leaving certain doors open around the house.. no more incidents i hope (fingers crossed) but now i have a lid on the box so there is virtually no way it can happen again

hey all.. just came back from vaca.... while i was away i had no one to water my plants that i trusted. so i used soda bottles cut in half sort of like humidity domes.. to keep all the moisture.. well anyways.. i think there was some soda residue inside the bottles.. it damaged the leaves.. but nothing too major.. one plant looks to have a mag def. so i will get that straightened out.. ohh yeah and one of the plants isnt growing that great at all.. its my dwarf..

hey all.. everything seems to be going fine.. i transplanted em into sum bigger pots .. n started to feed the bigger two some 1/2 strength nutes..

1st 2 - swet dreams- a little over 3 weeks
2nd 2 -"criced" - almost 4 weeks
last pic my little retard silver pearl.. just under 3 weeks

DAMN SHAME MATE,Dunno how many people on here know this but the pollen from a hermie will always produce seeds that are female, i dont know it the hermie has to pollinate itself for this to happen but it is proven that if a hermie pollenates the flowers all within the same plant the seeds produced would be 99% female

You have topped your plant nicely. You have a single plant in flowering, right? (the pink one) Do you have it in a light-tight container? Did you end up adding Perlite? I would think it difficult to chance the ingredients of your medium after the plant has been growing in it.

yes i have only one plant in flowering.. the other two turned out to be male..it is in a light tight closet.. no light leaks at all...
when i transplanted into a bigger pot i added pearlite to the other soil.. it seemed to help a bit.. yeah but its almost impossible to add pearlite to a growing pot without disturbing the rootball..
that snake has some crazy fucking fangs...

What are the dimensions of your closet?
How deep did you place your germinated seed in the soil? And how long did you germinate it in the paper towels for? How much of the tiny plant had branched out from the actual seed? Did the water drain out the bottom of your pot the first time you watered?

i sectioned off a 2.5' x 4 foot area in my closet..
i planted the germed seed like 1/4-1/2 inch into the soil, i germinated untill the taproot was about 1/4 inch long, yes i watered untill water trickled out of the bottom of my pot..
ive never seen them either.. only in pics like u said..

i built a frame from 2x4's and drywalled it and made a simple plywood door to slide in and out.. so it looks just like a crawl space opening.. very inconspicuous :thumbsup: hope this helps..

Diggin' many things in this log already. First of all, those pink pistils are something to be desired by all. Man, those would be so cool to be able to look at everyday! :thumbsup: I went back and tried to figure out which strain that was, but I got mixed up. So, what is it? :)

You do a good job with your LST and topping, so I'll forgive you for using MG soil. ;) I guess one can use MG with good results as long as one knows what one is doing. :D

Oh, also really diggin' that false wall design you have there. It is very similar to a design I drew up for a space similar to that. That's the best way to have it, for sure. Out of sight, out of mind (well, others' minds). ;)

Lastly, that snake on page three, Medusa, is CRAZY looking! :eek: I would defecate in my shorts if I was confronted with something like that. WHOA!

Note though, when I tried my F2 seeds on a NL that selfed, 2 weeks into flower it was already showing full herm and 'it' got the knife. Hopefully you have better luck w/ your beans.

i'd love to grow that strain but due to space limitations and odor i'm strongly considering lowryder. i'd be able to tuck a couple lowryders into my planned "cabinet" (i want to modify my guitar amp i.e.: remove the speaker/amp and put a piece of wood on the back to cover it up that has spots i can mount and intake and exhaust fan on) it's about 14-16 inches tall so i'll have plenty of space for 2 and do some lst'ing :thumbsup:

How's everything going? Oh by the way, what did you feed your plants during vegetative stage, and flowering stage? All I could find was that you started them off on 1/2 strength. My plants are ready for their first feeding, so I'm wondering what to get them, as I'm using CFLs as well.

for veg i was givin them 24-18-18 all purpose plant food (high in nitrogen) and for flowering 10-52-10 bloom burst( high in phos)
everythings great i cut shim down today.. and he/she is hangin .. will post pics tomorrow..

I was hoping maybe you could give me some advice Notorious...

I just transplanted my 3 week old plants from 6" pots into 3 gallon pots. They hadn't been fed anything yet, just water. Once I transplanted them, I watered them each with a gallon of water mixed with 1/4 tsp of Super Thrive (the first thing they've ever had). I read that's good for Transplanting.

Now, I bought some Expert Gardner All Purpose Plant Food, it's 24-8-16. Will that be okay? If so, when should I feed? As soon as the soil dries (like I said, it was just watered today)? Also, once I feed them for the first time, do I feed them every watering, or go feed-water-feed-water, etc... or what?

Sorry for all the questions, but you've had experience with all of this with great results.

bigt- i water when the top inch or two of soil is dry to the touch.. which is usually every 3-4 days..
horror- those nutes sound fine.. give em a week before you start feeding 4 them to adjust to the transplant.. i feed mine every other watering.. plain water- nutes- plain water- nutes.. hope this helps..
