Anybody know about this? I noticed it on a website a while ago. Its going to be held on 4/20 but I dont know where and if you have any info or website that would be cool.

Who the hell would be dumb enough to go there after the big raid 1/17/07 where 11 medical MJ dispensaries got closed by the DEA...smells of entrapment!!!:mad: We were making some real progress here in Cali, but the DEA doesn't concern themselves with state reforms and trampled all over the rights of hundreds, maybe thousands of MMJ patients:mad: :mad:

:mad: I am affected because the W. Hollywood Center for Compassionate Healing was directly tied to Pacific Support Services where I got my renewal...you can't go to another coop to do business if they are unable to confirm that I'm a MMJ patient...I know this because yesterday I was turned down at 2 coops because they could not get through to my doctors' confirmation line...no answer at the Dr. office either!!! So, yes I am pissed off and I don't give stoners a bad name...I belong to NORML, DPA, and a couple of forums, in order to promote legalization and I vote and I donate money...so I'm fuckin' mourning these closures because now I have a bogus license for MMJ and no place to legally purchase MMJ. What are you doing about it?:cool:

This has a terrible impact on the patients. The DEA has taken a page from the terrorists. Simultaneous raids like this are meant to intimidate the med users in california. This is truly sad. Only one arrest comfirmed and it's outrageous that 5 out of the 11 dispenseries are in West Hollywood where they are the most assertive in protecting patients rights and establishing regs and operating with city permits. The local county sherriff only received a half-hour notice or the raids from the DEA. This is the federal government operating with impunity! This is terrorism of the American people and it must stop. This will send people to the black market throughout California and undermine the effort other states are making with med mj!

Great, I'm happy for you, that you can grow...some of us can't and have to depend on this fragile state sanctioned medical law to enable us to use without fear of prosecution...these named sources will probably get back to business, but a whole lot more weary of the risks involved in a federally illegal enterprise...mean time the DEA has the desired effect...scaring MMJ patients in the great state of California into almost panic...at least locally...yeah, the rest of the coops in the state are no doubt doing their business today as usual, but remember that the feds need no permission and require no forwarning when they raid a place. I'm licensed to work in Calif., but risk losing it over something so stupid as prosecuting MMJ patients for trying to take care of themselves...I'm a patient and could lose my $80,000/yr job because of this kind of federal bullshit...then I can't pay taxes...

The last time I went to a smoke in here in LA was back in the 90s and the event took place at the Federal building in Westwood on April 20th 4/20. I will go again if I find out where it is gonna be this year.
