Closest I came to online gambling was playing small game tournaments like the arcade here has.

No, I haven't bothered. Call me paranoid, but I just don't trust online gaming for real cash. Fake cash, it's fun and just for fun, but with real money, I guess I just don't trust what the other side is doing.

If I'm going to gamble, I'll go to a casino or have some friends around the poker table. VLT machines and such I never touch either. No machines actually. I prefer the tables. :)

Yeah Bodog is a pretty big billion dollar company...they have a lot of commercials on ESPN. Anyway, I guess a bill has been passed in the US that you can no longer gamble online. I think it's stupid because it's your money, you should be able to do what you want with it. They're just mad because they aren't getting any tax from it. Has anyone else heard about this? I just don't picture this huge company all of a sudden stopping what their doing.

I love hold 'em...I think being a pro poker player would be a cool kinda lifestyle.

Why does this site have to have a Bodog banner? Starring you right in the face, even though it's basically out of commission now for us US of Aers. Friggin' Bush. Who's great idea was it to have this fucker in for 8 years?

It's illigal in America now. We are forced to give our money to the casino's in this country, not one based in India. I heard Neteller or another like it recently got shut down too. Missing money or something.

Yeah basically any company that acted as a 'middle-man' (Neteller, etc.) doesn't cater to the US anymore lol. You can definitely still do what you do...but it's a friggin pain in the ass right now if you want to withdraw or deposit. They are working on new ways though...and you can still use your credit card (I'd probably hold off on that for a while though). Like I said...Bodog has bought a bunch of the smaller sites...they were ready for this...just gotta be patient for a while. It's like marijuana...it can't really be stopped no matter what.

Try Intertops.com. They've been in business since 1983 and I think the first to take a bet over the internet. Your money is solid there and ALOT of people play poker there. But it's a sportbook too.

Paradise is what I used too... Now I have to drive an hour and deal with annoyed people if I want to play poker. I haven't found a decent home game, I'm not if sure if I'm that good, or the people I used to play with were so bad, but I had a 10 plus game winning streak of 1st place.

It kind of lost it's appeal. It was nice winning extra money though.
