Sticky fingers bad?

Okay, so I got high and I was rollin' this joint, and I was breakin' it up with my fingers 'cause I didn't feel like bothering with the scissors. My fingers were gettin' mad sticky and I was wondering if the THC is sticking to my fingers and so the weed is less potent?

Like, its the THC thats sticky, right? So then thats the stuff thats getting stuck to my fingers, right? So if theres THC on my fingers, theres less in my joint. Right?

I always think that too. And sometimes when i get really stoned i kind of get bummed out because i think that i coud have been a little bit higher if i had been more careful.

Lol it's stickiness has nothing to do with it being laced lol! Do people even lace weed when they sell it? I don't think I have ever bought laced weed before. I might thought I have, but now I doubt it. And it doesn't necessarily mean it's decreasing the potency. I mean I break my sticky buds down with my fingers all the time and that never takes away from how fuckin high I get so who cares if it really does :stoned:.

I've heard of people using latex gloves when sniping up weed and then scraping the "sticky stuff" off of the gloves afterwards and bowling it :) never done that lol

Oh so stoned...I grind my weed so, I guess some of the crystal comes off the bud, but I don't think it makes it much less potent! and scraping my grinder for crystal is really good when it builds up a fair bit :)

i have a personal thing with always using a grinder, but thats just my little bit of OCD :) The stickiness that comes off on your fingers really doesent make a difference. Bear in mind that the good stuff isnt just on the surface of the bud, its all the way through, so the bit stuck to your fingers is negligible. But if you really dont like it, then invest in a grinder. Get a decent one and it should last you for life.

I love my grinder, but when I handle sticky buds I just lick the goodness off of my fingers. It tastes great, and I dont have to worry about "losing any THC" ;)

I have a grinder, but growing up breaking oz's of bud up for my older brother by hand, there is something nostalgic about doing it by hand sometimes. Athough i have been thinking about investing in one with a little chache.

I read somewhere that the old, original Afghani way to make hash was for folks to basically fondle the buds until their hands were covered in the sticky goo and then scrape it off.

As for the thc sticking to your fingers, when breaking it up, and decreasing the potency of the weed. Sure, it probably does, but it would probably be something like a 0.000000000001% decrease so don't worry about it.

Take something like a credit card and scrape your fingers off at an angle, and scrape that "goo" into the bowl/joint/whatever if you're that worried about it.

Calm down bro i red the first line and posted whatever came to mind it was very early. What i mean was if its to sticky like on a whole other level then its probably laced. And yes in NJ some scumbags sell laced weed and they don't tell you its laced.

indeed...why put something that costs just as much as the weed on the weed then sell it? a mass loss of profit if you ask me, and I'm with you...I've never bought laced weed, I only know of people who like to lace it and smoke it like that...but fuck that shit.

I might have heard of people doing that or seen it on a movie or two but I honestly don't think many people do that unless you know some one closely that sold you something or was smoking with some people that intentionally sprinkled somethin on the bud. Because that guy that sells laced weed would eventually get killed or something would happen to him. You just don't go around selling tainted weed to anyone so I don't believe that.
