anyone else get this way when you're high... like you see an 'injury' on tv or a movie, real or fake, and you can actually feel the pain almost.. and it just makes you grab the body part involved and squeeze like you just got the injury yourself...

like while watching a movie, some guy gets stabbed in the neck, then you start imagining how it would feel, and eventually you CAN feel it...

that ever happen to anyone else?

Yeah, this movie I watched recently..."The Descent"...they're climbing through a cave, and one character slips and falls, snapping her shin bone, causing it to stick straight out her leg. If that wasn't enough...they then snapped it back into 'place' so they could tie it up. I cringed a little watching that. I had to watch that movie a few times with each of my friends though...it's pretty fun to watch...one of the better 'horror' flicks I've seen in years and years. Everyone should rent it...or watch it on one of those sites...

Very interesting you mention this!
I recently bought the magazine "American Scientific" and it had an article on this topic of Pain sensitisation. A long read, but what they did was they had people viewing a tv screen on injuries and that type of thing.
Whilst they were watching the tv, their brain waves were measured through an EEG (Electro EncephaloGraph) and they found out that the pain brainwaves were almost equal to that experienced by reality!
I can take a couple pictures through my 10 megapixel camera of the font if anybody is interested in reading it?

They believe that mirror neurons are a big part of it. They fire the same when you see something done and when you do it yourself. some more info

Wait I lied. One time I took shrooms at home, and watched the new Hills Have Eyes movie. For the first time, too. It fucked with my head for about a week after that. Do NOT watch scary movies on shrooms.

LOL...last time I took said substance...I had this weird feeling to watch KIDS. And if anyone has seen KIDS...they know it's one of the greatest/most fucked up movies ever shot. Needless to say...it was an experience...it had me reminiscing about times when I used to run the streets...it wasn't a bad experience though...kind of cool in a way, which was suprising.

Man thats crazy I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't necessarily bother me more, but it makes me almost "feel" the pain like my mind has a hella lot move vivid imagination so I tend to like squirm when I see someone's shit just getting snapped in two.
