I just got a call from a grow buddy who was freaking out...

He's all hydro all the way... clones in aero... had a power outage...

You can only imagine what the call was about...

'I just lost them all!!!!'

'Lost all of what?'

'my entire next crop!!!'

Over 100 clones that were only a few days from being rooted in an ez cloner... DEAD...and the donor moms too chopped up to provide new cuttings.

So anyway I'm giving him replacement cuttings tonight from my little moms.

The moral of this story is always have a backup plan!!!

Especially for hydro and aero growers... a small generator is a MUST, even if it isn;t enough to power your lights, a little one that can power your pumps and a few flouro fixtures will SAVE YOUR ASS.

That power your whole house X-C? We have a 6500 watt (gasoline)but are looking at a 10,000 watt LP to power the entire home. I only have one 1k watt light.....would that kind of generator be enough?

Yeah, but yeag we also have a well and it has to power the heat, fridge, washer etc....we only have propane around here...no natural gas and gasoline bites...so all that plus the growroom light, fan etc..

hey weedhound ,
my gen. fires the whole house via a transfer switch that senses volt drop from the pole . lights flicker for a sec. / but not even enough of a loss to screw w/ our digital clocks . 10,000w. is still huge weedhound . you could turn on everything in your whole house and 2-3 1000's continously easy .
peace
