View Full Version : The Simpsons. Made for Stoners?
I keep finding that the Simpsons has alot of weed realted bits in it.
Eg;
The episode in which lisa is guarding the oldest tree in Springfeild.
When the tree gets hit by lightning and they think shes dead they make the memorial, and when it slides away destroying everything it goes through the hemp store. Then theres a bit with a newspaper saying local stoners upset by demolishion of hemp store or something along those lines.
The episode in which Marge wants a dinner party.
They go into a shop calls "Stoners Pot Palace" and Auto walks out and says "That's like totally false advertising" [It's a pot and pan shop]
The episode in which Homer and Marge protect more trees.
Theres the guy in the electric go kart that wears hemp trousers.
The episode in which Homer smokes weed.
Obvious isnt it? He smokes weed the whole way through this episode.
Theres alot more, but i cant remember them all. I dont know if it's meant to be obvious, but its got a hell of alot of referances to weed in it.
I guess i was bored and wanted to make a thread...
What do you think?
Simpsons made for stoners?

Hell Yeah, also the character Auto the Busdriver is supposed to be the classic stereotype stoner. I could go all day naming the episodes that have stoner references in them, like when the mobsters were growing "wacky tabacky" or when homer lived with hippies and sold their plants from their "secret garden."

First off, Simpsons > Family Guy
The juice-making hippies were growing peyote, not weed.
Otto sends out his wedding invitations on zig-zags.

I believe the brian child of the Simpsons was from a British woman,,, Her name escapes me ATM,,,she is a great comedian and as a rule I don't like to many female comedians...
Its Otto not Auto.

Family Guy is the best comedy(as a cartoon), since UCB went off the air(though ucb is not a cartoon). Stewy is simply amazing.

I'll go look it up, see what i can find out :d
Edit:
Tracey Ullman (born 30th December 1959) is a British comedienne, actress, singer, dancer, screenwriter, and author, who is most famous for being the host of her eponymous variety television show. Ullman has an extraordinary ability to mimic accents, with her numerous characters rarely sounding anything like her normal accent.
Her early appearances were in British TV sketch comedy shows with Rik Mayall in, A Kick Up the Eighties, and Three of a Kind with Lenny Henry, and the English comedian, David Copperfield. She also appeared with French and Saunders and Ruby Wax in Girls On Top. Her career skyrocketed in America, having her own network television series, The Tracey Ullman Show, which also spun off The Simpsons.

there is no denying the earths large stoner population
One day we'll be the majority, and we'll treat non smokers how they treat us.
We'll arrest them for not comsuming it.
