Okay... you may or may not of heard of a shottie, its basically a variation of the bong, ive been smokin them all my smoking career, and yesturday my brother found a couple pages on wikipedia on the subject of shotties... so i thought id share them...

it says the shottie was origanally created in my home-town, poole.. which im very proud of...:)

it even has the history of shotties, aka, bots, grogits, grots, dirtbags, bolid machines etc. they have got some things wrong, but its all good...

soon ill do a tutorial of how to make one, its easy, and is becoming more popular among stoners, for good reason... anyway, read up, and tell me if youve smoked through one before...

Common mis-conception. That's a shotgun. Although even that isnt completely right, a REAL shotgun uses a shotgun lol!

Im sure you've seen the video of the soldiers smoking it. No wonder why America lost that war.

i think most of the confusion is caused by terminology. here in the usa we call passing the smoke a shottie or a shotgun. they are interchangable. it just depends where you are from.

so a shottie(everywhere else) is a bong, without a bowl, just a stem basically? someone should post some directions, cause the wiki one is not very well organized.

There pretty simple. You make a normal bong, then put a small amount of baccy in it. Then you put the weed on top of the baccy, you burn the weed and before it gets to the baccy you pull hard to that the ash from the weed and the unburnt baccy gets pulled down into the water.

Sounds like a slightly more complicated gravity bong. GB's are the way to go.
