Cities second grow

This is my second grow. my first ended abrubtly when I put a 400 watt hps in a 3 foot cabinet. Thought I had good ventilation but I guess I was wrong. came back and they were toast. this time i'm growing with cfl until march. hopefully by then I will have sexed atleast one fe and I will clone her and after the clones are rooted plant them outside in my grow spot.

Right now I have only one growing. shes around 2 and a half weeks. As soon as my other seeds sprout I will plant 2 or three more. If I'm lucky at least one will be a female.

Right now the hardest part is waiting until spring.

one question I had was whats the soonest that you can sex a plant.

this is the one i have growing under two cfls.haven't started giving nutes yet but i probably will start in the next week or two.

it varys a little but you will probably be looking any where from 4 -7 weeks old before they will show there sex in preflowers.

if you go 12-12 now, they may show in a week or two. you CAN go 12-12 from the start, but it dramatically reduces yeild...

if your just intend on taking clones to put outdoors would suggest you just veg until they show sex in preflowers you have plenty of time and do not have to revert any clones or mothers back to a veg state, clones put outdoors in april to may often do just as good if not better than ones put out in march, as the dark hours outside may be long enough to trigger flowering in march.
