Yeh, hand watering on a daily basses to get the hydro type root system moving the nutes right along. The coco is GH Coco Tech. It is nice, but Canna coco is suposed to be top notch, but who's complaining..
Thanks for stopping in.

i never did understand how this medium works, is it something along the lines of hydroponics??

When you grow in coco you become a soil/hydro agnostic, LOL. Yeh, it is like a hydro medium IMO but without the air/water pumps and chillers/heaters. You can use it in a drip set up or a ebb and flow, or like me and hand water.
Some do choos to treat it more like soil, but I have found more who treat it like hydro.

Nice looking plants, Bear. Those leaves look dangerous...almost Little Shop O' Horror stylie. Slice. :)

Do you have any 'in-process' shots of the Coir...maybe while you are potting them? Or the raw material...? Shots of the bottom of the plant?

I'm very interested. Going to have to do some studying.

Lights on temps are in the 80's and lights off have got down to the 20's. Most of the time it doesn't get under approx 40D at night.
My plants are soldiers and I give them the credit. Thanks for stopping by.

nice bear . looking sweet man . just interested in how u can use it in a ebb and flow , wouldn't it block pumps and tubes and stuff???? isn't it a great medium , i wouldn't use anything else. keep up the good work the smoke will be worth it.

Thanks Hal, means alot coming from you. In an ebb and flow they use pantyhose to cover the drain pipe and fillters on the water pumps. Also I believe that the coco slabbs that they make for drip/ebb and flow tables don't lose much coco particals either.

good to hear i am not the only one that see's 40s with the light off.doesn't seem to be hurting anything.i just went and bought some insulation today anyway though.want to at least get it to the high 50s and dont have room for a heater in there.

Yeh, I think that it can be strain dependent, but still even the more warmer climate plants adjust after a while.
