These babies are 11 days since they broke the surface. They seem a little slow going. I have them on a continuous drip 18/6 lighting no nutes. They are a bit droopy. They look okay as far as being green and all but I am not sure if they are dieing. Any comments, opinions or suggestions is appreciated.

They do look a tad droopy... Lots of potential reasons for this. Off the top of my head, could be:

-Your humidity is low so they are holding on to their water and getting weighed down.
-Something in the water if it is tap (excess minerals/salts).
-They are getting too much water/not enough oxygen. (I don't do drip, so I don't know how that is regulated.)
-18/6 might be just a bit too much for them to handle at this stage, and going down to 15 or 16 for just a week or so might de-stress them.

What kind of lights?

If you don't have a fan blowing on them, get one going ASAP... This will strenghten the stems, and might even perk the leaves up a bit.

Hopefully a Drip Master will stop by here and give ya the wisdom I lack. *grin*

11 DAYS, WTF???????????????
THEY ARE small.
FEED! FEED! FEED!
(Get those babies onto nutes they are hungry)
Also, stop overwatering them.......Let the soil/medium dry out ocassionaly to promote roots!!! <<<ONLY do this after you have fed them, they need a feed NOW ok.
Here is some images of mine on day 11 (sorry not taking over ya thread or anything) just posting these few just to help you, so you can actually see the difference and what ur missing out on.

So start feeding them, after the first feed, let the soil/medium's surface dry completely before adding more. this will benefit the lil ones!
Good Luck & take care of ur lil babies.....(keep us posted)
Peace Out,
Bliss.

Well these are from seeds. Were those clones? If not then my babies are way slow. I was under the impression that from seeds they have enough nutes stored to last about a month. If I used nutes at this early of a stage wouldnt that be overkill. If not how much nutes? I have AN 3 part micro grow bloom that havent been opened yet. I have a 400 watt ML about 2.5 ft above them and yes I do have a fan on them. PH is around 5.7 to 6sh with water temps running about mid 60s to 70sh. Not sure about humidity. First thought was to much water so I will back off the watering and see what kind of reaction I get. Please more advice thanks guys for all the help...

Peace

I use Advanced Nutrients - THC (Total Horticultural Concentrate) Grow A&B for vegitation & Bloom A&B for flowering.
Also I use B-52 (micro nutrients) threwout the whole grow.
For seedlings i use .05ml to each liter of water of THC Grow A&B. and .05ml of B-52.
For 3-5 week old plants in veg i use 1-1.5ml to each liter of water of THC Grow A&B. and .05-1.0ml of B-52.
Always allow vegging nutes to continue 1 week after flowering has been induced.
For Flowering plants in week 2 i use 1.0ml to each liter of water of THC Bloom A&B, and 1.0ml of B-52.
Week 3+ of flowering gets 2.0ml of THC Bloom A&B and 1.5ml of B-52.
At the last stage i flush with pure clean fresh water for the last 10 days of the flowering stage.
Good Luck, i hope this is an idea for you to consider, also to your question, do not give much nutes to the babies, just a lil bit and make sure its been diluted.
P.S Mine are seedlings too.
Peace,
Bliss.

Dude, you were right man. I have about 16 liters or 4 gal of water in the res. I put in 1 tsp of micro, then 1 tsp of grow then 1 tsp of bloom and in two days this is waht they did. Now I am just wondering when I need to hit the res with some more nutes and should I just use the same amount this early in the game.

Thanks:stoned:
