hey guys,
I have a plant that is getting reddish brown at the base of the stalk and little white dots the size of pencil tips. they shrivel and die. I have an organic anti-fungal spray/dip that doesn't seem to work on this issue. please let me know what you think I need help quick. there are two more that look like they are in the early stages of this. they are the last of the strain I REALLY wanted to keep. purple cream. if it helps.
thanks in advance
Dude, I don't think you're going to be able to save her. Looks like some sort of mold or fungus. Severe overwatering?

Start over, you're wasting your time with this already 3/4 dead plant.
try a different soil medium... like... soil!

I'm all for being a hero and saving a plant, but this baby is done. I would seend you a healthy clone if I could 'cause I feel for you(looks like she's your only on) but it just ain't possible.

thanks guys for the quick replies, now I feel memories of overgrow. =)
I thought that was the case. THAT ONE IS GONE, however I have two more that are starting to do that. I have moved them from the cloning chamber. (A simple fogger and a 1-1.5 foot deep container.
Thanks again guys. I am in a hurry so I will post the other two's pics shortly.

Kind of looks like someone picked up a dead stick off the ground and stuck it some hydroton. Hope your other kids do better....

ewww!!!!!!!!!! thats disgusting bro.. try using soil and water your plants when your soil starts to get dry. Like umm.. stick your finger in the pot and if the soil is dry within 1 inch water it.

heya blunder
you a hydro grower? that why you're in hydroton/rockwool?
I'm kind of confused HOW they got like that... you say a simple fogger...???
I'd go with the classics for cloning. Humidity dome over is all you need... that much moisture is killing ya! Those little white spots may have been your plant trying to air-root, a sure sign the humidity was outta control too high.
With fungus, you now need to sterilize everything so the spores don't spread. Bleach your system, pots, any hydroton that came into contact with the infected plants.
