Y'all could possibly be the only ones, MastaC and Skink. I think most people like chocolate candy in most of its incarnations. I certainly do. I can't make fudge, however. I always seem to mess it up when I try.

I just made some cookie batter for oatmeal cookies and Toll-House cookies and am about to begin baking those. My husband has a sweet tooth and will be into them as soon as they come out of the oven, no doubt. We're having an icy-rainy cold day here and so we're trapped in the house. Cooking is a nice pastime.

Hard to beat the smell of cookies baking in the oven... They say if you are selling your house and have an open house,,,bake cookies and people will be more inclined to write an offer...

ok I'm anal... I looked it up and they say it was first made in the UK in the sixties and they also say it came to the US in 1976... so the original prob was Opel Fruits and produced here in 76 as starbursts...

Ha ha! Maybe so, but mine takes like 5 minutes to make, it's so easy.

1 package of chcolate chips
1 cup of butterscotch cips
1 1/2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
raisens (optional)

Heat that shit in the microwave for 5 minutes on medium heat, line a square pan with wax paper, pour in, cool in fridge, and eat. :) Hell yeah! :p
