Last night while smoking with a few of my closest friends, we we're trying to pick music, and all wanted to listen to something from the days of sneaking out of middle school to smoke.
We ended up listening to ACDC and it was possibly the best music choice ever.
It was strange though, all of us didnt talk for like 30 minutes cause we were recalling all of the times we'd blazed to ACDC.
Do any of you guys have any songs, or movies or anything that make your head spin, and make you think about lots of good times?

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Fried Day
From the times smoking Afghani hashish in Do7a.. It brings me back, every single time. And if I smoke up and listen to it, I feel really fucking great.
And of course, Scarface (the movie). We used to watch it all-the-fucking-time. Just drinking a few cokes, eating some munchies, and watching movies. It's great :-)

Yeah, music, the smell of something, movies, music videos. If it was in my mind a few years back when I seen it, it always brings me back deeply when I'm high in the zone watching or listening to it again haha. I hate that in a way..

Haha, Its one of those blessing and cursing things.
Its awesome if the times you're remembering were good, but I have freinds that have like "bad trip flashbacks" when they listen to certain songs.

The Breakfast Club brings me back. Porky's brings me back. A good song from the 80's or beyond brings me back. Oh, and Cali Orange. Peace.

the song "Stockholm Syndrome" by Muse. I always remember driving in the park with my brother, high as hell. That marked the beginning of my era as a pothead.

Whenever I listen to The Arcade Fire's "Funeral" I remember my first time smoking ever. The day after I smoked for the first time the largest blizzard in my state's history kept me snowed in for four days and I listened to that album and smoked to pass the time. It was an incredible journey.

Well nothing can really bring me "back" since I'm only like 16. But Teenage Wasteland- The Who brings me back in the public school days. Me and my buddy were watching The Girl Next Door and we played one part of the movie over and over becuase it had that song in it. lol. We were blazed.:stoned:

That song is called Baba O'Reilly, not Teenage Wasteland. Perhaps you'd rather be brought back to a time that actually existed?

It's funny, i have a ton of songs/bands that do.
When I first started smoking I just bought Mindless Self Indulgence's album "Frankenstein Girls" so that always gives me a reminder of that time, especially the song "Ready For Love"
That Spring after I started my friends were really into "B.Y.O.B." by System of a Down and "Feel Good Inc." by Gorillaz, and I also remember hearing "Fly Like an Eagle" by the Steve Miller Band, great times.
I could go on for hours about the different bands that take me back, Jai on here mentioned The Arcade Fire, that'd be one. Even something as new as The Raconteurs reminds me of this past summer, smoking blunts while cruising into Kentucky late at night.

Yeah. Lets go get stoned by Sublime. Back in the day me and my best friend always used to sit on the swing in front of his house from like 12am to 4am just straight smoking the whole time. Well, from the spot that I always sat in, I could see a streetlight, and now everytime I see that streetlight at night I think about back in the day, chillin and smokin with my main homie J.

the intro on "Starlight" by Muse makes me think of one particular time back in the day when me and my only toking buddy at the time waited for over an hour outside in the dead of winter so we could get a teeny tiny bit of some "medical shit" that cost us 10 bucks for like .2 g's. it was insane. i love thinking about the good ol' days...damn...lol

The Who's song "Baba O'Riley" was the song that went on the radio right as I began to take a hit for the first time, so when I listen to it, it "brings me back". :bonghit:

Sometimes when I'm high, I'll be listening to my iPod, and be listening to bands that I've liked for at least 10 years, and I think of how long ago it seems, and I get depressed and feel like I'm getting old, or that I miss the old memories, and then I realize that I'm still young (I'm 17) and that 10 years from now, I'll be thinking of when I was 17, so I should enjoy my life and create new awesome memories.
Sometimes though, I'll get weed that reminds me of a weed I've had before, that makes me smile, because I love all the smells of cannabis, and it's nice to get one that smells like one that you haven't had for a while, or when you first started, if you get a high like that, etc...
But, when I first started smoking, my friends who would always smoke me out, etc.. would download songs on my computer and we'd listen to them, smoking songs, you know, like reggae, or phish and stuff like that. So, whenever I hear those songs on my computer I'll think of back then.
For instance, everytime I hear "Who's got the herb?" by 311, I think of when my friends (who now most of them are in college, so I don't get to see that often) were over, and all the fun times there were, etc..

Oh yeah, also, I remember when my friend introduced me to The Mars Volta. We went on this 2 hours trip to this crazy middle-of-no-where town, to get bud, so he played the CD over and over again. Also, when we when back, we listened to the (at the time) new Red Hot Chili Peppers cd Stadium Arcadium. I don't normally listen to that stuff now, I prefer metal, so whenever my iTunes randomly plays those songs, I reminess (sp) about those times traveling to get weed.
Also, when I was 13 the first time I ever got high (I didn't start seriously smoking until almost a year ago) my band was working on covering "God Called in Sick Today" by AFI, so whenever I hear it, my mind travels back to that day, and I can remember everything about it.
I don't like when this stuff happens because like I said I get a bittersweet feeling. I mean, because it's friends I don't see that much anymore, etc... and I seem to get losts in my thoughts for a long period of time.

Also shortly after I first started, my main smoking friends who were the ones who introduced me to it in the first place, well every weekend we'd all go in my room, and play poker, while listening to music. The song "That was a crazy game of poker" by OAR brings me back to then, because we listened to that alot.
It was so much fun. We'd play poker and smoke out of a homemade bong contructed out of a 5th of vodka that got me so high. This was when I was a beginner so this is when I'd get the most blazed I'd ever get. We'd stay up until late into the night. Go to bed at like 4 am, wake up around noon the next day, to a beautiful summer day. I miss those days.
That was before my mom's asshole fiance moved in... :(
