Stoner A Midsummer Night's Dream!

The fact that I'm acting in my school's play of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (playing Bottom, for those familiar with it) has inspired me to want to adapt it into a weird, trippy, ethereal, light/dark, edgy stoner film set in 1960s' England or America. What do you guys think of this idea?

i'm totally going to. I have it all in my head. You don't need to pay for the rights to Shakespearian stuff (who would you pay to? He's been dead for nearly 400 years and his line ended long ago). I'd really want to go for something that would make a dude stare at the screen in awe after smoking a fat bowl.
