how the fuck can I beef these ladies up?
Ive already tipped, FIMed and LST the fuckers.
Yes, there only under 36 watts at the moment.
5 weeks old and about 13 inches tall.
got them on 11/13 and have shown sex.
Need more bud sites. I will stick em under a 150 watt HPS next week when I move house. BTW This is a dirt ass cheap grow(looks like a fucking high school science project)

There is your problem. You want at least 50 watts per square foot. You want a minimum of 2500 lumens per plant. KP hit it right on the head. That HPS will make them take off. Good Luck, B.

KP - yes more lumens is where its at!
Ive had them on 11/13 for about 10 days but they are slow to start budding.
Any ideas on how to speed this up? Also my bedroom is starting to stink like a peppery Skunk! Its not an ideal situ for growing but I figure the extra stress will make for a sweeter smoke. Im giving em Thrive (tomato) fertilser @ 10 ml per litre of water every 7 days. They love it!!! I hope there done in a few more weeks.
Keeko - the fist pic is the same plant from about a week ago, the second attachment is some maddassed bushweek that grows nice and tight down here in Oz. It got outa control in my unit so I made some cookies with it! Its U>F>I Unidentified Funky Indica! We just tend to grow bagseed as every seed in planted Oz is pretty much topshelf! (given the weather ) I think growers here import the Dutch stuff & mix it up with whats been going around for the last 35 years in Oz. Best of both worlds!;)

have removed the older shade leaves to expose the newbie tips n shoots.
ive got a female with hemi tendancies and a male (i think) This is good as I can do with the seed. I think I will let them love each other rather than banishing the male to the *Shake* bag.

hermies make hermies... you don't want to pass on the genetics. so if you DO have a hermie and a male, i'm sorrry sweetie, but the best thing to do is get rid of it. if you want seeds, collect the pollen from the male and pollenate a true female.

If you keep fimming and messing with them...you will keep them in shock, and they will never grow. Plants grow fastest when you leave them alone.

this thread belongs in basic growing. nothing advanced here. or many of these threads for that matter.

you might want to try more air flow if possible ive been air rating my grow room 24-7 for the last few months ill post when i first started airing out my grow room to show you how much a difference it made

We havn't seen pics of your plants as seedlings. Did you leave too much room in between the light and the plants? if so maybe the stretching is a reason. But definitely you need more watts/lumins

HPS have penetration you just don't get with CFL's. To be honest its better getting just one fuck off light that will hit the spot rather than lots of weaker, shitter CFL's that you have to keep readjusting.
