No matter what you guys say, I won't be quitting soon, but I just wanted everyone's opinion. Is 14 going on 15 too young to smoke weed if used in a responsible manner?

I'd allow you to smoke it in my home, but i'd rather you didnt untill you were 16, so i'd say yeah, really 14 is a bit too young. 16 is an age where your not an adult but your starting to think more like one. And ive learnt that from personal experience... I started when i was 11, although for me it was a bloody good job too,.

Well, I only smoke maybe once a week, and when I do I like to philosophize(Don't know if that is spelled right) and like to study the music I'm listening to. It helps me become more open of myself too. I don't act like a vandal, I often scold people for doing stuff like that. And I keep my grades up, and do my homework. How is that NOT responsible use?

I was 12 when I started...but, in all fairness I only did it on occasion. Like 1-3 times a month. Then I took a long break when I moved and didn't start again till 15, almost 16.

I think 14 is too young just because smoking Cigs at that age would be too young. I'm not saying 14 is to young to try it but smoke every week is to much even though it doesn't seem like much :o . Weed helps me relax about all the stress i get from school, and just to have fun. besides, id say im pretty mature and i know how to lead my own life. Same here, I'm in a program that gives you classes 1-2 years higher than you, and they are honor classes at that. Midterms are this week, and when I'm done studying, I'm headin straight to the bong.

I'm not sure where you are from, but I had a vehicle by the time I was 15. Been driving since I was really really young. (big ranch=lots of time behind the wheel)

In the states, most kids have cars. The reason we have more alcohol deaths is because of our stupid american kids and the poor values their parents have instilled in them. If more kids have cars, obviously we will have more deaths....so you can't really compare it because more US teens have keys. I've seen dead people laying on black top...but don't get me wrong, I drive impaired all the time. I am guilty of it. Only thing is when I am an impaired driver, I take it seriously and take pride in getting my friends places safe on friday nights. If you are careless, you could end up dead. Simple as that.

I don't think I knew anyone in high school that didn't have their own wheels.

yeah TheFatKid I first smoked right before my 15 birthday and i'm still 15 now. haven't been smoking too much lately since i've been trying to dodge a drug test, just don't let it mess with schoolwork or anything and just keep up a good lifestyle and you're straight

If there are 100 american teens...i would guess 60 of them (at least) would have a car and drive regularly. = 60% of teens have wheels

If there are 100 somalian teens...i would guess none of them would have a car a nd drive regularly. = 0% of teens have wheels

If there are 100 UK teen drivers...i would guess under 20 would have a car and drive regularly. = 20% of teens have wheels.


If there are more american teen drivers....of course we are going to have more accidents. Nearly every time I have ever drank, I have been in a vehicle at least once while intoxicated..whether as a driver or passenger.

Very well said. Just because you have your own room and don't have to share a bunk with little brother does not mean that you can start bringing illegal substances into your parents home....or get arrested because of it.

If I would have brought pot into my parents house as a young person, I would have gotten my ass kicked. Not sat down and 'talked to' about the 'dangers of pot'. I would get my ass kicked.

Too young in my opinion, your brain is developing as well as the rest of your body. Smoking will only cause abnormalities or problems, not definitely but there is a chance. Wait until your 58 and wright everything you do down. Then build a time machine. After building the time machine go back in time to when you're 14 and get yourself high. Start writing everything down and smoke till your 58. If you like one story more, build another time machine and go back and make your decision.

But anywho.

My uncle is schitzophrenic, mom is manic depressive, bi-polar. Hell my whole family is bi-polar. I suffer from paranoia definantly. I think because of that is why I think I suffer from psychosis.

But Marijuana has helped me in the long run. Since I started smoking my metabolism has really gotten faster. It is prolly because I walk a ton more now. I have lost 35 pounds since I started and frankly, it is just great.

I don't get the munchies very often. And when I do I usually eat green or yellow apples.
