i am about to be moving to south carolina and i was wanting some info on the herb scene in the state... the laws look a bit strict (though less than NJ where i am from now). any info? average prices? etc? any info would be great! i am bummed to have to find a new dealer, cause it is just plain sketchy... and makes me nervous cause i have already been busted once and cannot afford a second time! is it dangerous mailing tree in like peanut butter or something (just curious)?

Just becuase you haven't doesn't mean a large amount of others don't.
And it's not as though it's insulting or anything... Plenty of people like the fat.
I've just never heard of people ONLY eating fat. Like it's the main course or a snack or something. Hah. (except for the carolina's)

For real good southern cooking, they use lard as cooking oil. You could eat it with bread, but man I wouldn't eat that stuff raw.

Im fron NC and Ive seen people eat fat back but it was cooked in something like a pot of beans. But one thing thst is popular here is livermush or liver pudding. That stuff is rank. I thought i got a sausage biscut and took a big bite. I never assume food is what it looks like anymore I ask.

hah. That's very true. I have to admit I've seen others do it, but I personally don't like it.

I'm from NC (the mtns) and I've never heard of nuking fat, but if you're talking about fatback, then I'm all over it. Fatback (like hogjawls) is more like bacon than crisco. You can use fatback for a ton of stuff from cooking beans, greens and whotnot, not slicing it up and frying like bacon. Gravy can be made from the drippings and what you have isn't a far cry from what you eat at denny's (prolly a little better for you than dennys). It's not something you eat every day, but if you notice the meat sections of your grocery stores around holidays, fatback, hog jawls and other treats can be found cheap. Bottom line, good flavor at a cheap price.

im gonna be in columbia going to USC... im gonna be a COCK! haha.. i am crazy annoyed at having to make connections again cause right now i have a delivery setup from a buddy who i would trust my life with.. now i will probs have to buy from some shady ass stoner from USC, and be paranoid about the PO-PO..
i have already been busted once (got me kicked out of Rutgers) and i can't afford it happening again. im actually thinking about quitting instead of messing with finding a supply down here. ugh! this sucks!!!

I have a cousin and a lot of friends who go to USC, although I'm not sure if any of them are stoners. There was a time when I was looking to go there, but decided to go somewhere else instead.
...By the way, I'm a Clemson football fan down here (that's USC's rival school). lol.

i wonder if it would be worth it to drive an hour over the NC border to find green.. i think it is pretty much decriminalized (info from NORML) and you get a ticket if it is under 1.5oz. anyone know anything about that???

i have lots of family in columbia and some in shallotte, NC (which is just a few minutes away from Myrtle Beach). unfortunately, myrtle beach is about 2 hours from columbia, but you can just take the interstate to get there i believe, and theres some bomb ass nugs in myrtle beach.

Hey twostep, I chilled near greenville, which is upstate sc, and most people I dealt with sold two grams for ten bucks, but it wasn't any high grade. Kind usually ran about $100-$150 a quarter, depending on what crazy name they call the stuff next, or the dealer's skin color. (It is the south!)

that was an error on NORML's part, NC is still completely illegal.

NORML didn't say it was legal, just that the first couple offenses were treated with tickets, not jail.. is that accurate?

It's not leagle in NC, but its decriminilized. Possesion of an oz or less is basically a fine and like a day in jail I think. If that.
