Lightbulb vape question.

Ok so i started making another lightbulb vape, it is one of the white bulbs that your meant to clear with salt but it isnt clearing. i have read that if it doesn't clear then it is safe to use, how true is this?

look man, sorry to ruin the fun but lightbulb vapes are extremly inefetive unless you have a controlable heat source, ( not meaning a crack lighter ) because without it its almost imposible to keep the pot at vapervising tempetures, i have tryed many times and i just end up burning the weed and having a bad taste in my mouth. but if somebody has a engenous idea on how to control the heat then let me in on it, but until then hit the bong, pipe, bubbler, joint, blunt, gravity, or waterfall. ( i dont think i missed any lol )

No, you definately want to get that paint-shit out of there. Sometimes it's hard, I don't have a clue as to why. Try gently chipping it. If you weaken it the rest will usually crumble with the salt method. And then just rinse it out.

Personally, I like lightbulb vapes. Cheap, easy, and I like looking at the lightbulb after it's all clear... and I dont have that much trouble getting it just right. Just gotta watch it closely and time it right.

I havent had one in a long time but I like it. You should just buy a transparent lighbulb without that white stuff, makes your toke/life much easier.

every time ive made one, the shit washes right out. just fill it up with water and its like instantly gone, then hold a blow-dryer to it for a few minutes, and let it air dry for a few hours

No man, It's not like that. I used to light bulb vape EVERY night. Ya, it's a pain in the ass to hold the lighter there, but if you wanna get stoned, and there's parent's or something like that in the house, it more than effectively get's the job done. Any other day I'd twist it, for sure. And if your reeeeeeally smart, you'll get a candle.

Josh: Ignore stupid remarks about the effectiveness of light bulb vapes, these people don't know what they're doing. My first reaction would be, No, not to smoke that. But, what you have to keep in mind is, the it takes alot less heat for the cannabis to combust through vaporizing then it does through smoking. So, you won't necessarily be vaporizing whatever fucked up chemical is layering the inside of the light bulb

But man, honestly, just go to Walmart and buy a pack of $1.29 no name light bulbs. That's what I used to do.

Yeah i just made one of these again yesterday and it worked great. The only thing I don't like is that you have to hold the lighter but now that someone mentioned the candle, I'll be using that.

Lol you guys should see my ghetto setup. I got an old hardrive, taped a ruler to it, and then made a hole on the top of the ruler and stuck my vaporizer through it. Then I placed the hardrive so that the lightbulb is directly howering over my candle... its sick. The kind of candle I use is the type that never gets smaller so its even better :D
