i dl'ed it like 2 weeks back, gave it a listen and didnt like it. listened again today to see if it would grow on me, and had to turn it off half way through because quite frankly it bored the living shit out of me.

Around the Fur and Adrenaline are two of my favorite albums ever. White Pony began their downfall into oblivion, Chino doesn't even sing anymore.

They are by far one of the best live bands I have ever seen. I got to see them and Godsmack front row center and Chino actualy climbed onto the fence and hopped into the audience right next to me and did that scream thing on the song Bored. Me and my buddy helped him back onto the railing. He was literally inches from my face looking right at me and we were both rocking out, best concert experience ever. Which is why it makes me sad to see that they have gone the way of many 90's metal bands...

I'm a huge Deftones fan, I thought Saturday Night Wrist was actually pretty good. There's only one Deftones song I don't like and that's Elite, everything else I love. I have listened to them for quite a few years and always been happy with what they have released. If I had to chose an album...I couldn't I love them all way too much.

I'm from Sacramento..home of the Deftones.

Yeah there awesome.

I agree with the above poster,

Around the Fur and Andrenaline being their best albums.

I once met Chino at the Mall at a skate shop.

They're all down-to earth stoners.

The bassist plays dominoes at a crack in the wall bar a lot here in town.

what are you people talking about. White Pony was easily their greatest work. and i love saturday night wrist, it sounds different than anything else theyve done. im glad they are coming up with new, original stuff instead of just sounding the same on every album.

I really enjoyed the new album. It has a bit of a different flavor almost touching base with his singing in Team Sleep. But I think the lyrics he writes are the most fitting lyrics they've had since "Around the Fur." I was one of the 1000 lucky ones to get to see them live here in Nashville,TN as part of the Camel Tour and it was pretty fucking amazing.

i also love white pony, but i thought that chino's vocals sounded EXACTLY the same on every track of saturday night wrist, and it wasnt one of his singing styles that i liked to begin with.

If you dont like the new Deftones something is wrong with you, Its probably one of their best releases if not the best, seriously its some of their best stuff. Also White Pony is amazing as well, whats wrong with you guys?!

I don't like the Deftones new albums. They have bored out big time with no musical borederlines in the songs at all. It's like they all just started playing random things at the same time and called it a song. It has no flow or rhythem anymore. Whe4n White Poney was released, I stopped listening to them.

Andrenaline and Around the Fur is some bad ass shit though. Those albums are great. Hell, I still play My Own Summer on guitar every now and then. It's one of my favorite riffs.
