Broken whip on vaporizer

My vapor bros whip broke today after only a few months. it broke right at the filter, just cracked the glass...my friend who did it said he didnt hit it against anything yet my car was extremely cold and so were everybodys hands...is it possible the transition from hot to cold caused it to break?? or was the whip just a piece?

i have the same piece and ive hit it a bnuch fo tiems and its never cracked or broken. It was most likely teh cold, to extremely hot right when you connect it to the actual vape. Glass does that very easily. For example i had ice water, dumped it out for some tea and it cracked right when i poured the boiling tea in.
