Please help...so confused

Alright, first off you can disregard this first paragraph if you don't care about the personal situation. I was offered a job working for my girlfriend's father last week. He works for a respected company, so I assume I will probably be tested but there's no way to be sure. (It's not like I can ask him!) So, not only is the job on the line, but perhaps our relationship as well. I go for the first interview tomorrow, and if all goes well I will have a second interview in another city. No clue when the second interview will be. No idea if they would test me before they pay to fly me out to the other city. So, I am basically looking at a 3-14 day window for this drug test. I quit smoking 4 days ago, so there's no chance I'll pass it without doing something.

I smoke on average once a day, usually a bowl or two. I've been smoking this amount for about the last 18 months. I am 5'7", 190lbs, and have some excess fat. I am not currently very active.

How in the world can I pass this drug test. I thought I had it covered, by researching all the detox websites out there. I was planning on doing a combo of the Duz'z It drink with the Crisis Caps. They say that they don't mask the THC, but rather absorb it. Was about to purchase it when I stumbled upon this site, and BAM, I'm back to square one. It seems like everyone on here agrees that those products are just a waste of time? (Have these products actually worked for anyone on here?)

Now I read that drinking liquids will do nothing to help cleanse my system? Niacin will not help either? What about green tea or cranberry juice in large amounts? I don't know if it will be supervised, so I don't know if substitution will be an option. What do you think would be the best thing for me to do??

I find the best thing to do is drink lots and lots and lots of water before you take your test. Make sure your piss looks like water. At that point there is so little "waste" in your urine that it becomes very difficult to test....and if it doesn't work (it has for me) then at least you didn't spend a bunch of cash on a pill that doesn't work either. But in other posts on this board, they say that drinking liquids is useless unless its the day of the drug test. Is that true?

Yes, you'd have to know when the test is. I hope they don't spring it on you. Peace!

You might want to try some hard cardio workouts. It'll burn at least some of the fat that contains the non-psychoactive THC metabolites they test for, and overal it makes you body flush out and replenish.

Try substitution - read the substitution thread. Hide it in a place where they won't check you... under your sack is personal enough. Most places aren't going to come in with you for a pre-employment screen. But, they will check the toilet when you're done, so make sure to really pee in there.

If the idea of substitution freaks you out, then you need to read the dilution thread, go to the store ASAP, get the stuff you need, and just go through your interview trying to not do the pee-pee dance. It's a very iffy thing to do at this point, though, since you haven't been taking creatine. But, if you dilute enough, you might actually come up diluted on your test result, and might be able to buy yourself some time to either do it properly, or substitute for the second round.

I recently signed on for an engineering job and before I chose that job I did other onsite interviews with other companies and none asked me to do a drug test on-site. Friends have been in similar situations and none of the companies any of us applied for had on-site drug testing, especially before accepting the job, or the employer accepting me. So I'm guessing you wont have any on-site drug testing unless the job is really law-oriented. I've never had a job that has drug tested me before they gave me an offer. I think most places will do the drug test/physical after they decide that they want to hire you. If it is a good position all the decision making and paper work will take a while, time enough for you to get clean. It takes me ~2 weeks to get clean without using anything (maybe sooner but I've never checked myself less than 2 weeks), I smoke ~3-5x per week, I'm 24 5'7" and 150lbs (female). I suggest getting a few at home drug tests and taking them to see how long it takes, I bet it doesn't take you much longer than 3 weeks (especially if you dilute), but take the at home test to be sure.

What about this Quick Fix synthetic urine? It seems like a pretty good deal, and its very cheap. My only worry is that they will know its synthetic urine. And I worry about being able to keep it at the right temperature. I know they give a heating pack, but what if it heats it too much? Like, what if the sample is too cold/too hot and they send it for further analysis. Will they see that it is synthetic? Ahhhh...I hate this twisted country we live in where you can drink yourself stupid 7 days a week, but you're screwed if you smoke some peace loving herb.:mad:

I haven't personally used Quick Fix. But, the reviews of it on here are amazing. I have yet to hear tale of someone saying that they had problems with it. As far as heating goes, it not only comes with a heater, but a temperature gauge, I'm pretty sure. Since it can be re-heated over and over again without problems, you might want to order some extra heaters for it (or pick up some hand warmers) and experiment on your own as to what works the best.
