This is the latest bloomer of a plant. And the thing is the buds don't seem to be growing so fast. On all the other plants are already harvested but this one is taking a lot longer. Any ideas on why or why the buds don't seem to be growing. any answers? thanks a lot.

you need to tell us things about the plants, for us to have any idea about what is going on
lets start with the basics

temp, lights, strains, photoperiod, pH, Nutes, age, how long flowering...

temp is usually in the 70's except at night it might be like lower 70's. they are northern lights and i'm using a 400 watt hps. 10/14 cycle. it was really hard to get them to flower. instead of 12 i had to go down to 10. and i give them bat guano with high p and low n and all. and i also give it some dolomite lime every once in a while too. it's probably been actually flowering for a little over a month now. but like i was saying both my other plants are harvested and everything. this plant has been a slow grower though so i don't know if maybe its just normal for it. i check the trichomes and they're not really mature yet. some are but maybe like 25%.

aight harris you know what it is?

i think it might be the ferts. i'm using bat guano that has a bit of nitrogen. i think maybe just get something with no nitrogen and all p. what do you all think?

This is my best guess

the ideal temp is 78 and the best range is 75-85. so your a little cool, which will slow growth a tiny bit

Bat guano actually is very high in N and P. High levels on N can delay and retard flowering. i find it strange that you had to drop the light cycle down to 10/14 to get it to flower

I think your problem is light leaks, that would explain both slow bud growth. As the flowering hormone is inhibited by light, so if you got light = less hormone = less bud. it seems to me that you compensated for this by increasing the dark cycle. cutting the two hours out will also reduce yield and i have never heard of a strain needing that to flower. I dont think natural days ever get that short (in most places).

My best advice is check for light leaks.

hmm but then again, if it was light leaks you would expect all plants to be affected.

and your temps are "IN" the 70's. sorry i mis read i thought you said at 70.
you want less than a 10 degree difference between day and night temps.
but all that happens if you have more is that the inter-nodes are larger

are all your plants NL? i hav 1 NL plant and it needs way more fert than the others to keep going. Maybe thats it. What ferts do you use, what amounts and how often. Do you pH your water, have you measured the PH of the soil. Are the leafs showing any def's?
