Hi there. This will be my first time grow ever and I needed advice but here is what is what I am planning on doing. I am planning on growing the LowRyder 2 strain in the summer months, or if I get good feedback here now, probably ASAP!! It is slightly taller then the original LowRyder but it has a far better yield which is why I am interested. I am going to order the LowRyder 2 from Dr. Chronic. It's around $87 and same change for a 10 pk.

I have a big wide closet that is like a dresser so there is a part which is perfect for growing small plants. The whole closet/dresser is actually 2 compartments. The dimensions of the closet/dresser that I want to use is 32 inches high and 16 1/2 inches wide and 21 1/2 inches deep. It has its own door, so its very well suited for this!

I want to grow about 2 to 4 plants inside that compartment. Height will not be be a problem because LowRyder is small. Here is my basic list and please let me know if it needs improving or if it is ok. Remember, this is my first grow ever so I need some help with it. I have read up on growing literature so I know somewhat about what I am doing.

- LowRyder 2 seeds from Dr. Chronic
- 125watt (8000 lumens) EZHydro SATURN bulb from EZHydroKit.
- Ona odor control
- Small fan for ventilation
- Small pots and soil and some plant food.

I can cut out a hole or 2 for the air to come out, or just leave the door open when no one is home because LowRyder 2 is an autoflowering plant and it will get light no matter what in the day time and the door open will be ok for ventilation when the small fan is going. I am also planning on leaving them in my windowsill or outside for sometime too so I can save on some power with the lightbulb.

Also, do you think I should use a little hydro kit from EZHydroKit instead of soil? I'm sure hydro will increase the yield maybe 10-15%. The LowRyder 2 strain itself is supposed to yield about 28-46 grams per plant. I expect to harvest maybe an ounce and a half from each female plant if I am lucky. But please be aware that I cannot use a 400 watt bulb due to me living with the rents still.

How long do I have to water them and what plant food is good? Remember, I'm a newbie so I need to be led in the right direction.

Also, do you know how long I can keep the seeds? Because scouting for an area to grow outside is going to be a bitch. I don't want all the rain on my buds and have insects get into it and have it all moldy.

I'm not going to pontificate but you really should grow outdoors if you are still living with your folks. Lowryder is a great little stealth plant too, easy to conceal & has a short seed to harvest time.

You can keep seeds for a long time - even years under the right conditions.

with only that amount of light you wont get close to a ounce and a half a plant off them unless you grow 2 max and allow them to get all the light otherwise you are going to have to keep them pretty close and will only get light to the tops or if spread out the cfl wont get enough light to them and you will be looking at closer to half a ounce a plant, if you grow outside you may reach your target the seeds will be fine for a while.

I would be happy with a 1/2 oz per female plant. Hell I would be happy with 1/4 oz per plant...as long as it is something. I think I am just going to grow 4 plants max in my area.

I'm just worried about growing outdoors because if it rains, I don't want the buds all covered with water and for mold to form and bugs and birds crapping on them too. My little space that I have is perfect for growing small plants, so I think I am going to stick with that.

Since you mentioned it, I may use 2 SATURN light bulbs, but currently I am fixed on one because like I said, I was going to put them outside a few times a week.

Oh I can't wait until I start growing!! I definitely think this is going to be a reality. I don't want to sell. Just per personal use. But I could use the money to help pay off my credit cards so I may sell an ounce or something.
