Hey. I was reading my vocabulary homework and I noticed a weird, but funny example for the word reprisal.
In reprisal for being fired, a troubled man shot several people at the factory where he used to work.
Me and my friend laugher our asses off.

reprisal means pretty much the same thing as revenge

More technically, reprisal is more of a response than "revenge." It is your answer to that which you were given.
