I reckon if he exist he can do anything, right? Wait, that would mean he could smoke the pot, too. Hmm? What a question, and thank you! I am very :stoned: right now, and needed a brain tweaker like this.

I could get lost in this thought for hours, lol!

Could he do it?

Thank God we have all of eternity to figure out our own immortality. Why is it that whenever a person comtemplates the idea of God said person focuses on Gods' powers, i.e. over the universe and everything in it or on His judgement, will he accept me or reject me? Will I go to Heaven or Hell? For some reason, most people focus on the latter. With that kind of train of thought choo-chooing through our minds I can understand why God invokes such fear into our hearts upon His first impression, yes, even the hearts of the nonbelievers. A boy is laying in a field, stoned. He begins to ponder God. Like every other soul on this Earth, boy realises, consciously or otherwise, that he can never be worthy of God and the gift of life God gave him. Inevitably he begins to think 'I could go to Hell.' <if this were a screenplay I'd cut to visions of boys' hell> Frightened by the possibility of such a dark future, generated by his own creativity aka his imagination, boy is now faced with two scenarios: 1) Try to gain favor in the eyes of God (and be doomed to seeming failure) or 2) Begin to ponder the possibility that God does not exist which seems much easier than suffering an eternity within the realms of his own self created hell. Ahh, the birth of damned guilt! God the Judge is a terrible way to perceive the one who is the source of love and life itself! God gave life eternal, not so he could pass judgement upon those who live, but so that those who live could be free of judgement! He's not judging and neither should we. Perhaps that's why so many people are scared of that time, that "awful" time we call death, you know, that time when we'll finally have the chance to say "Thank you?" I mean c'mon, doesn't the gift of immortality deserve a thank you face to face? Peace.
