i cant figure out how to put together my flourescent fixture, any know any good sites explaing it??

What kind of fixture is it? Does it have tube bulbs? Is it long with a ballast in the center? These are some of the things I would need to know to even fathom the thought of where to begin to help you!

yeah it has tube bulbs and a ballast, its made to plug into a ceiling but i knocked out the wire hole so i can run an extension thru and hook up the black and white wires tot hat of the chord i have, I just dont know how to ground the extra wire

Just take a self-tapping screw and screw the wire to the metal on the inside of the fixture! Walla! You have now wired and are ready to go! I mean GROW!
