yes i have some growing and smoking right now, im smoking some Northernlights from female seeds and well as flowering some out, and i also have Neville haze hybrid, that plant is rediculous.....it grows so fast, im almost afraid of it. oh p.s. the northerlights have a great smoke, they just need to cure a little before i get my hands on them. good luck
Ive got some Female Seeds X-Line Cinderella 99 going that is looking fabulous...it's my favorite of the 6 plants I have going at the moment. I went online last night to look for more and they are sold out but I still have 4 beans left....I'll plan on making one a mother plant since I love this strain.

i agree with you to some extent blunted, although i have not tasted any other NL besides FMS so im unaware of the tastes. But for a new grower(as i was when purchased fm seeds) i didnt want to have to deal with sexing my plants and getting rid of plants that i took care of for a while just to throw them away.

lol thats exactly why people buy them. People that dont clone want to buy 10 seeds and have 10 plants. Fair enough np good for people with limited growing expierence or just dont want to take some extra steps.
But to get them they either shoot them up with some tranq. or hormones or something that stress plant out and produces all female or theres another way to i forget but is also very unnatural and endign results a female seeds with just a little of taste and qualilty gone stil high grade stuff though.

ha yea thats why i bought female seeds for the first time, it was easier....now i have realized the prob with female seeds (not the company) being hermies a lot more. cloning is where its at. take care:thumbsup:
there is a natural way to get female seeds.....well a better chance of female seeds, find a female plant that hermied, get it to pollinate itself and the resulting seeds will have a greater chance of being female..but it will also be a greater chance of being a hermie too.

Well thats the exact reason I got them...with limited grow space and no previous cloning experience I wanted to be guaranteed females. And I also know that they are chemically or hormonally induced to be feminized - but I do question your statement that either the quality of the taste or the buzz is compromised.
Anyone else care to weigh in on this one??

Actually you may be completely right....It's a good enough point to bring up that I am hoping some other people have some experience with feminized vs standard genetics.
I would hope that nobody would flame you for raising a valid question!

ways to induce herms for feminized seeds:
chemical
photoperiod
overripening
heat stress

If they are using hermies to get their seeds I would avoid them. I have always avoided feminized seeds myself but have been around both styles...those made from hermies and those made using gibberillic acid. The hermies produced more herm's while the ones made with gib. acid all made it through to become very nice females without a hint of male flowers. But I'll stick with the natural, tried and proven methods. Besides, I like the cloning part of it anyway...it's all part of the therapeutic aspects of gardening that short cuts seem to be lacking.

All feminized seeds are made with hermies. It's just the METHOD of making the plant go herm that is different.
NAtural herms are bad.
Chemically-photo- or overripelly(lol) induced herms are reasonably safe.

anything unatural to produce seeds stress's the plant out. So while its stressed it produces the seeds meaning that the seeds are not as good a natural seeds cause most natural seeds dont get created when the plant is stressed out.

I've been growing female seeds' easybud and it's almost done (see the sig for details). I really have no complaints, I haven't managed to turn them hermie and I've grown some healthy plants so it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

friend of mine grew skunk special from femaleseeds.nl, no probs,
then i gave him 10 seeds, also from femaleseeds, not one of them germed, which i find a bit suspisious, i think hes f*cked them up somhow but blaming the seeds.
im currently growing dutch passion fem skywalkers, no probs yet...
i think stress seems to be the common factor with herms, feminised or not..
keep your environment within the perameters nd you should be good :)
