Hi everyone, I'm new here. I've been smoking for about 4 years now, but only heavily this last year. I would smoke every morning when I woke up and every night.

I started to have anxiety attacks when I was around anybody I did not know well on a personal level. It got so bad I couldn't even walk into a gas station to pay for gas (I had to have a friend do it for me).

I did a little research and found that this fear of people, sociophobia, is starting to become pretty common. It took me a while to figure out it was related to the amount of pot I smoked.

I've stopped smoking pot and this problem is already clearing up. I haven't had an attack for about a month now.

I just wanted to post this as sort of a warning that pot affects everyone very differently and this was just the way it affected me. I still can smoke on occasion if I'm with some close buddies, but I can't ever let it get back to that point of every day, all day.

Thanks.

Moderation in all things of course, I'm glad you see too. It's not about what we do or don't do, it's about listening to our body and minds carefully and knowing what actions are healthy, or counter-productive to our well being.

My friend had a very bad freak out anxiety effect. Everything in life is better in moderation, smoking 2 much weed makes it not as fun as smoking occasionlly, like once a day. I also don't remeber when i smoke too much and i hate that feeling that i don't know what i've done for the last month
