How much will that effect potency compared to the final cured product (in a week)? I can see how that would effect taste, what with chlorophyll levels, etc, but potency?
I've been chopping them up carefully into small bits with sharp scissors to not mash too much, and baking at the lowest heat with the oven door open for about 40 minutes.
Is the high I'm getting from popping popcorn buds in the oven roughly the same as the juicy, cured buds will be?

I've got a fuuck load of it too...well, about 2hg I think, which is the most I've ever had.
It's a great feeling - I made it myself ;)

I'm going for ½kg now. Plan is 5 indicas, LST'd for many colas, 250HPS plus 50W cool flours, 650HPS for flowering.

Yeah, I would if I could ;)
I was unclear, I have a 400w and a 250w, apart from a bunch of flours lying around.

if your gonna quick dry weed, its better done with a radiator or heatmat, the oven will cook the thc off, thats why youve gotta seal firecrackers good, or they go shitty...

i did my oven samples with a peice of tin foil folded around it at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes.works best to chop the sample into small peices.

from mel franks' deluxe marijuana grower's guide..... "oven drying is often used by gardeners to sample their crop.small quantities of material can be quickly dried by being placed in a 150-200degree oven for about 10 minutes.it is an adequate method for obtaining dry material for testing and emergencies"

Just put a bud or two on top your 250 hps...it will dry over night and be most enjoyable in the morning...
