how far to put 400 watt MH from seedling

Hello and welcome to the nuthouse... I mean boards... :D
You can use your hand to feel how close to put the light... it should feel warm but not uncomfortable when you hold it right at the level of the leaves.
A 400 is a lot of lamp for seedlings and you will need to keep up on watering them... but they will reward you with crazy growth!
