Simple question really.
What do you want out of all your years?
Glory, success, money, love . . . . what is it?
Me, I'd have to go with experiences, of any and all kind. Finding that moment where you sit back and smile. Where, for however brief it may be, you feel happy and content with everything. Little moments of pure joy.
I also wouldn't turn down any kind of *real* emotional connections, like the kind you see in the movies.
Magic. I want to live a life with as much magic as possible. So when I'm 80 and I wake up one day, I have to pinch myself a few times to make sure it's not a dream. I want to be that happy, yes.
NOW, actually getting there is a whole other story, but hey, I figure I got 60 years to work on that.
SO, what do you want to look back on and smile when you're in your rocker telling the grandkids about life in 2007?

I have alot of thoughts on this.
I am not material, but there are a few things that I want.
Nice truck, nice house, comfortable living, and a nice wife. A few extra material possessions like a shop with tools and goodies like that. I am a very able bodied and mechanically intelligent person. I have skinned more deer than most people have seen. I am self sufficent, and compared to the average american, I am not very material, but I know what I like.
But mainly, I want to continue to travel throughout my life. I was able to get around while growing up, and I have been to about 35 of the 50 states, been to a few countries, amsterdam, germany....that sort of thing. Reason I want to travel, is I want to see *EVERYTHING*. I don't need to go on tours of museums....go whitewater rafting....or really learn any other culture than my own. I just want to be able to see it, contemplate it, and move on. Example: Pyramids of Egypt. How could you NOT see that before you die? I don't need to immerse myself, but I definately gotta see that shit. This way, when my last breaths are taken, I won't feel so bad.

I want to be honestly happy. The type of happy where you dont want to change anything. I also want to travel. I love learning about other cultures and history. I want to be in a loving relationship. I want to be needed. I want to do great things for other people. At the end of my life I want to be able to look back and know that I made a difference in the world.

I want to be able to stop worrying about making ends meet.
Having a little left over to travel is important to me too.
I want to be comfortable, both physically and spiritually.
I hope to be able to look back on my career and say it was worth my time.
And I'm still looking for a good man to share all that with.

One of these days see me driving round town
In my rock 'n' Rolls Royce with the sun roof down
My bottle of booze
No summer time blues
Shouting out, Look at me
In my rock 'n' roll voice
Ain't no fun waiting round to be a millionaire :D
Have a good one!

I want to live a long, happy, healthy life full of laughter with my husband and son. I want my son to grow up to be an open-minded, loving, caring, successful, intelligent adult who knows how to make good decisions in his life. I want for us and those we love to be successful and prosperous with whatever life throws their way. And I also don't ever want to look back at my life with regret.

I want a steady job where I control my own hours, looking into a doctor of some type maybe a psychologist. A decent flow of money to support my hobbies. To go snowboarding with my friends almost daily(well other than work so the weekends). To have a wife who is more than just a hot chick and being able to toke up about 2-4 days a week, and a nice family. A nice house for my family. I feel greedy but I guess thats who I am.

I want to be able to discover and observe everything possible, physically and mentally. I want continued health, physically and mentally until I die (none of that vegetable shit).
I would also love success, but understand my chances. I would love superpowers too, but again, I understand my chances.

I wanna be one of those people who knows all kinds of little fun facts. Like when your at the ocean and shit can identify different fish as an example. I don't wanna know everything but I just wanna know something about everything. And the given, Good family, friends, house etc. Also I want a green house with some killer veggies to eat and some bomb ass herb all the different strains I can just pick and dry whenever I want.

I'm a romantic, so I'd say my strongest desire is for love, which, fortunately, I have in good measure. Good health for myself and the happiness and good health of my family are at the top of my list, too. And I hope my son continues to grow up to be a happy, funny, well-adjusted adult. He's right on track so far. With luck, he and whatever future wife he chooses will provide me with a couple of darling grandchildren. Being a grandma is also on my list. Material stuff isn't part of my what-I-want-out-of-life equation.

I wonder if what we want doesn't change as we go through life. Aren't there Buddhist sects that believe you have to go through a series of things, like suffering, excess, and sloth, among other things, to achieve enlightenment? I'm not a Buddhist, but a variety of experiences do help people learn what they want.
One of the happiest days I can ever remember was getting out of the army. I hated the regimentation, the rather machine-like quality of it, but without knowing that feeling, I would have never known the happiness I felt on the last day. It seemed like the whole world would begin anew and everything would be possible from that point forward. It was like falling in love and hitting the lottery on the same day.
Of course that feeling faded after a while, but if I could do something in life that made me feel that good from time to time, it would certainly make life a worthwhile experience.

Regret is a necessary evil, it is what keeps up learning what not to do the next time that opportunity occurs, and everything is an opportunity.

Yeah. That movie shit looks pretty good. Of course, it's not real, is it?
As for me, horizon lines. New places. More travel. New friends. And more time just kickin it with those I already have.

I already have what I originally wanted, which was an understanding of life on the cellular and molecular lever. So I went and studied, got a Ph.D. in biochemistry. Now I've moved on to the martial arts. Got my black belt last year, and will probably just do karate for the rest of my life.

...to take it to the limit ...one more time......
I would like to die already. And I'm not sorry for my sullen disposition either, it is you who should be sorry...Living your lives wholly with friends at your side to cheer you up. How do you continue living in darkness? Or is it simply the power of a positive consciousness?
Dreams are for sleeping. Hope is for the feeble. And faith, well that is all together not effective. Love? Wouldn't know.

What do you want from life
Someone to love
and somebody that you can trust
What do you want from life
To try and be happy
while you do the nasty things you must
Well, you can't have that, but if you're an American citizen you are entitled to:
a heated kidney shaped pool,
a microwave oven--don't watch the food cook,
a Dyna-Gym--I'll personally demonstrate it in the privacy of your own home,
a king-size Titanic unsinkable Molly Brown waterbed with polybendum,
a foolproof plan and an airtight alibi,
real simulated Indian jewelry,
a Gucci shoetree,
a year's supply of antibiotics,
a personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth
and Bob Dylan's new unlisted phone number,
a beautifully restored 3rd Reich swizzle stick,
Rosemary's baby,
a dream date in kneepads with Paul Williams,
a new Matador, a new mastodon,
a Maverick, a Mustang, a Montego,
a Merc Montclair, a Mark IV, a meteor,
a Mercedes, an MG, or a Malibu,
a Mort Moriarty, a Maserati, a Mac truck,
a Mazda, a new Monza, or a moped,
a Winnebago--Hell, a herd of Winnebago's we're giving 'em away,
or how about a McCulloch chainsaw,
a Las Vegas wedding,
a Mexican divorce,
a solid gold Kama Sutra coffee pot,
or a baby's arm holding an apple?
Have a good one!

More travel throughout the world, causing havok in different countries, meeting all kinds of different people and learning about their culture. I would really like for that to be with someone I love...if that don't happen, I will just take one of my homies, I guess. LOL
I will take experiences over everything...just as I always have..
and teach my daughters to experience the world and all the marvels within.
At the moment, i want nothing from life.
