My new PC case grow

This is my new PC case grow. Before anyone says anything about me growing at my parents house, I have talked to them before about it and they said as long as they dont find/smell it.
I started the case by cleaning out the inside and painting it flat white. I left the outside the original color so as to not attract attention to it. I then modified the power supply so that it acts as a plug for all my lights. I did have to use a 12V transformer for the fans however. The front door on the case comes off and is a good place to water from, or I can just take off the side panel. I made the case lightproof and made it look as normal as I could. The first light I mounted in the power supply chassis and wired it to the plug. I will add at least 2 more sockets and am planning on using CFL's. I am not going to make the lights movable instead I will have the plants on a platform to make them closer to the light, then I will move them down gradualy. I plan on growing ~3 small plants. hey man what are the measurements of that pc and i think you would get better weed if u only did 2 plants i want to get one of these going or maybe a cpl and use them for clones or vegging rooms

I plan on only doing one or 2 small plants in a computer case. I plan on growing the LowRyder strain. it will be my first grow so I want to play around a bit. I figure I may get a 1/2 oz from 2 plants of the LowRyder but I think it is worth it and I wont have to pay around $200 for a 1/2 oz.

I was thinking of training the plants as they grow and keeping the light close so as to keep them short and bushier

looks waay good, but beee warned. Ventilation is a must or it will turn into a tiny little plant oven. i built one myself and it's a bit small, but great for a hobby.

ive seen a 100watt HPS computer case on overgrow, i believe by the name of elephant if you can find the old lost threads there.

anyways he did manage to grow and harvest his crop with about a ounce of herb in the end, your going to need atleast a single PC fan in there taking out air.

even lowryder will have trouble in there, pc cases are for pc's, an old floor speaker would work better, I don't see how anyone could get a zip off a plant confined to just over 1 cu/ft; that's b/s. You are in for a disapointment travelling this path.

Research lowrider. No experience w/ the strain personally, however I remember alot of posts on OG (rip) where some plants do not auto flower, some keep wanted chararictistics (auto flower, small growth, etc) and some dont. Same way my Cali-O grows or blueberry grows some have smelled like skunky while others are fruitilicious citricusy. Depends on the plant (same seeds same pack same strain) and how true it is to breeding. Also... you will HAVE to buy seeds seeing as how you cannot clone this strain... And in that small of a case you cannot let a male/female polinate for more seeds. There's no way you'd pull 1/2 oz two plants on 1 CFL. Maybe total plant material... but not buds. There's just no way. The buds would be very very airy and light. Thats any strain. 1 CFL is ok to germ and maybe early early veg. No way for flowering.

I've seen on OG posts people who converted outside 70w HPS street lights inside PC cases (home depot/lowes)... And 1 flowering plant trained usually. Good luck though, I dont wanna discourage you. But if your lookin to replace buying, and you smoke even semi regurally... I hate to be the one to break it to ya and not beat around the bush to say it but this wont suffice to replace dishing out the green to toke the green.

Again, not to discourage you... but at the very least use this design and all as a learning curve, experimentation mindset and dont think about the end product.

BTW I decided to switch the case to hydroponics, and I have wired the sockets. I currently have 1 150W CFL and 1 100W CFL with room for another if need be

No update for a while, I take it its not going well? I cannot see growing in such a small PC case, let alone with hydroponics. Just a word of advice I would not try getting three plants in there. If indeed you can work out the logistics of the ventilation and everything you are still going to have suffering yields if you try to fit too much into such a small space. You would be a lot better off trying to grow two or even one plant in that space and making them the best you possibly could. Good luck to ya anyways, at least you are trying!
