You'll have to pardon my ignorance...whats a hooter/spoof? Is it another word for a doob tube or am i completely off base here?

yeah, they are the same thing. I dont think they really work that well, but if your gunna make one, just get a longer tube, like a wrapping paper one, and just stick it out your window when you exhale so all the smoke gets a good distance from your room and away from the window and doesnt blow back in.

Oh, yeah, well i stuff a paper towel tube full of dryer sheets, then i put a couple over the end and use a rubber band to keep them there. I don't think there is a more efficient method than that really. I almost never use the things nowadays, used to before my parents knew.

if your going to do this, make sure no one else can see you or just smoke outside or something.

lol i guess no one usese them much, oh well. i use mine every day so i can smoke in my my dorm room ( instant eviction if i get cauught toking the reefer:( ) if u take the time to build a good one they filter out almost all the pot smoke. of coures they will onlt work if ur using a pipe or bong or something
