I suck on XBOX live

So I have been playing Gears of War a lot and do really good in Campaign mode.

Today however I tried playing online and got my ass handed to me. Most of the time I only got one or two kills. A couple games I got about 5-7, but nothing special. Anyone else realize they suck when they play others online?

i always do when i first start out playing a particular game... of course you suck, you don't know the strategies that work, don't have the practice at being a 'sharp shot' (i.e. their bullets are more accurately fired then yours) and you don't know the vantage points of the maps.... after playing for awhile and learning these things i become just as good as everyone else (if not better) pretty damn quickly....

I had the craziest trip playing this at my friends house. I felt like I was the character then I was kicking ass, Then when I was dying I felt like my heart was going to the rhythm of the heart pump thing, then I died and everything went crazy it was pretty sweet.

I never play gears of war, i have it but i didn't like the shooting. I prefer call of duty 3 and halo 2. I OWN at COD3 but i'm average at best at halo 2, that game is hard as hell on live, lol.

I hate it when some asshole complains that I suck when I'm playing in an unranked match. I mean shit if you are that good asshole play in a ranked one so you can get away from the new players who can't do much.

I was playing against some french guys yesterday and they killed my entire team every round in under a minute. I think we got one out of ten wins and I had no kills.

Ignore the whiners, complainers, and shit-talkers. One way is to find a group of people you enjoy playing with, send them friend requests and stick with them. You can find people out there who aren't total assholes and will accept you regardless of your skill level.

Send me a friend request if you wish my gamertag is meenstreek. I play with people who are pretty good at gears, halo, cod2, etc... However, they don't take the game so seriously as to ruin the enjoyment of others. That for me is the best aspect of Live, which is having fun with people you enjoy.

hell yea man, i just used my free 2 month trial for xbox live for my xbox (which i got 2 years ago) and halo 2 loive is soooo badass. I seriously love it, and in my opinion im pretty damn decent at it.

Haha I was in a random game last night and dominated. I had 4 kills in one round. The dude who was hosting that game created a new one and invited me to play. After that I got 4 kills over 3 matches. LOL. I knew it was to good to be true. :D

yeah dude you gotta beat campaign mode first before you start playing gears online. then if you still suck online, beat gears in hardcore then insane. thats what im working on now and i have gotten much better at gears.
