hey all,
Happy new year all. This is my first post so do forgive me in advance.
But i heard over the christmas that our former gun running Taoiseach had plans to legalise weed here and turn Ireland into a green utopia.
was wondering if this is just another urban myth or a real possibility?
Apparently during our not so fruitfull and almost Dickens like recent history. (high unemployment and the like). C.J had played with the idea of setting up coffee shops in ireland to bring some cash into the country.
Bord failte could have used the theme song '40 shades of green' for the advertising campaign and even the growers could have created a variation of g13 and called it shamrock weed or something! lol
Although with our inflation and government tax system it would probably cost 100 euro a gram by now. I heard too that he was planning on being the owner of the coffee shop chain as well.
still though it would have been interesting. Any truth in it do ya reckon?
