Just went to Whistler,BC for ski trip

Hi there as this is my first post! Anyways I just arrived in Whistler BC and this is my first time in Canada. I heard alot of stuff about bud being very good in BC. But as my current mood is angry because i havnt smoked bud in 4 days now because i am not at home :mad: . Anyways I am going to be staying in Whistler and skiing the blackcomb mountain for the few months. So would any one have any tips about how I would be able to find some bud around here in this town? Also what are the prices around here? Also would I be an outcast being a stoner in this town? or are there alot of other also? Anyways thanks if you answer me back. (p.s everything is fucking expensive here lol)..

Hey, i hope you are enjoying whistler. If you look on some of the other threads in the Canada section, you can find out more on where to get bud around the Vancouver area. Whistler isn't in vancouver, but if you DO go to vancouver, you could try the university for some bud, or even ask around at the BC Marijuana Party's bookstore about where to get some (they dont sell it, but they might know someone who does).

YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT AN OUTCAST IN BC if you smoke weed. I think EVERYWHERE in BC is a popular place to smoke. ie, you won't be alone anywhere. Bud prices are around $120-$180 per ounce in vancouver. Whistler, like you said, is very expensive- but i dunno if their bud is more expensive too, sorry.

Well found were to get some bud now lol. Within my first few mins of searching for it lol. Was i ripped off at 40 dollars for an 8th around here? Only other thing I worry about now is that do people sell alot of laced weed around here?( The bud was very light green and not that dense but really broke up real easily, not to many hairs tho, looks like it has alot of keif also.) Anyways thanks if you give any answers

I normally pay $20-$25 for an 8th in vancouver, but whistler is more expensive in general, so maybe that's why- or maybe it's just really good shit. i can't really comment on the laced weed thing, cause i haven't quite decided if it's political bullshit or actually happening. i don't know anyone (and i know A LOT of people who smoke A LOT of weed) who has gotten laced weed. i wouldn't worry about it too much, cause if you got stuff that was laced i am sure you would figure it out immediately. it would probably taste way different, not to mention make you feel way different. if that happens- stop smoking it. lol.

Hello Lazy... the hubby and I are heading up your way (Whistler) on the 10th of Jan- staying until the 14th. We weren't in the know enough to score when we were up there 2 years ago but got some good advice from a boarder on the way home. He said the market is a great place to score and if you hang around outside long enough you'll get approached. He also said that he actually asked his hotel conceirge and they hooked him up.
I'd love to know how you hooked up if you don't mind sharing.

well yea man i reccomend just go asking ppl that look like they smoke weed and some ppl may help u out, thats how i did it... but dont pay more than 25 dollars for an 8th... some ppl may try to rip u off

also i dont reccomend smoking when ur sick as shit.. Heres the thing ususally i have headaches and i can use weed to make them go away. BUT not migranes!!!!!!!!! I am so sick u kno the fealing were ur fucking super cold but ur body is sweating and u can feal the nasty flu flowing thru ur veins. My head hurt so fucking much every time my heart pumped. So of course i go an smoke some endo, and my heart of course starts beating fast as shit, when that happened my head ache got 30 times worse because the blood was pumping 30 times faster lol. Also i could feal it pushing that flu shit around in my veins and yea so i reccomend not smoking when ur sick as shit... one of the things i hate about the cold... it was -24 on the mountain a few days ago but its warming up

well its 25 for an 8th as i found out from a local 30 if its real dank and yea just go around asking ppl in the village or when ur skiing or snow boarding jsut ask ppl where to get some.

well yea i just buying 8ths from time to time.. but i am pretty sure youll find an ounce if your looking for one but yet again not sure. Ive actually stopped smoking for awhile because my lungs and thraot just hurt me to fucking bad. I may not smoke for a month maybe due to this.. So yea i just been making firecrackers latley and i am staying with a group with alot of strait people and they caught me smoking bud out the bathroom window and i almost got kicked out of where i am staying. ( hey i couldent go outside to smoke its to fucking cold and last time i went out side for a quick smoke in my panajamas i almsot got frost bite and i was to dam sick... althought i smoked many times in the bathroom and i didnt nottice it was making the whole dam place stink like endo lol because i couldent smell shit due to having the flu) oh hey if your looking to buy a pipe or something theres a place that sells them in the marketplace i forgot the name alrdy lol :jointsmile:

hey man i just got back from whislter!! what a beautiful place.. the first day i was there i met a dude at one of the shops in the village and he hooked me up with a half o for 90 bucks, not bad at all considering i pay anywhere from 150-180 at home.. the buds were awesome and i bought an acrylic bong at a store called katmandu in the village.. then a couple days later i bought a quarter and that lasted the rest of the trip, i also smoke some amazing hash with this hippie i bouth the quarter from.. nice shit and i cant say enough about canada!!

lol haha the people at katmandu know me real well.. well not real well but ive gone there and bought probally my 4th or 5th pack of papers from them a glass bowl, your talking about that the katmandu right next to the KFC right? I hate the KFC they have horrible munchies by the way.. its the worse KFC i ever gone to lol But the 7 eleven near katmandu is great when i got the mucnchies lol. I am glad you found some bud as easy as i do here. It literaly took me 5 mins to find some bud and to know how to get bud here when i first got here. Did u ski or snow board over there at 7th heaven? I think its just fucking beautiful over there and its just fucking awesome to light up a spliff sitting next to a tree on 7th heaven not near any one and just smoke and blow that smoke into the sun and looking at all the mountains.

that is the katmandu i am talking about.. i never ate at the KFC but saw it plenty of times. i bought one of the bongs from the shop, it is about a foot tall at has a little bend in the tube.. maybe you saw it there? i will post a pic, anyway bud was extremely easy to find and everyone is so helpful. how much longer will you be there? i will be planning my trip for next year very soon, i am hoping to be there for new years eve!!

I went to Whistler when I went to Canmore a few years back. Lovely area would definetly buy a house there if I won the lottery. Some friendly guys from a veggie retaurant smoked me up while I was there...good guys aaaaaah Canada!
