I've never cloned from a plant in 12/12... does it take longer for a cutting from a plant that's been in 12/12 to be transplantable than a normal (veg) clone?

What if the plant in 12/12 that we're talking about has only been in 12/12 for a week and hasn't really started flowering yet? Is there a "re-vegging" process, and how long does that take?

Thanks!

definitely DO NOT clone while in flowering. You will stress out your plant, and your clone will take WEEKS to revert back to vegetation stage. NOT WORTH IT.

It is ok to take clones in the early part of flowering, up to about 2 weeks. It is in fact ideal in the first week because you want to have less nitrogen and more phosphorous. N promotes veg and P promotes rooting.

Clones that are chock full of nitrogen will take longer to root.
