I don't remember. :p
Let us not forget that this is a stoners' forum - despite the relative unfamiliarity that some of the people (including several mods!) here have with the ramifications of this way of life.

It was a LOOOOONG time ago! I can't even remember what I did when I turned 50, which wasn't nearly as far back - and a far less imbued time for me.
As Jerry Garcia said, "If you can remember the sixties, you probably weren't there".
Anyway, happy birthday!

I'm an old 35. And actually I feel better then ever! I climb mountains and did a crazy winter climb in the Wasatch Mountains right after I turned 30. It was great and I think it's good to mark these 'milestones'....good idea mate.

You think 30 is bad? I'm 37 and the big 40 is looming. I didn't do anything special for my 30th, didn't seem like such a big deal.

Ive got a while to go to reach 30, but I can keep track of the shit I do and remind you 'old fogies' of how it used to be if you like ;)
But serriously I'm not sure it matters how old you are, but what you do with your time. You could be 90 and not done as much as someone whos 43. At least it seems that way to me.

Old enough to know better and young enough to do it again.
Thirty-something is a good age to be. I don't know about 40 yet. I'll tell you when I get there.

40's is good,,,life is what you make it... Just be sure to maintain your health cause that would be the #1 thing to screw up your later years...
I am a stones throw from 50 and I feel better than I did when I was 40,,,health is the key...

health is the key...
Well stated! When ya hit the 30's the cheeseburgers and fries seem to leave more and more of an impression on the stomach. Don't quite burn off the food like ya used to.
40's the aches and pains seem to stick and annoy a bit more than they used to. Doing work outs, exercise is the key for that crap. LOL..can't wait to see what wonders the 50's brings.

I have had sporadic computer access.. didn't feel like buying one. Everything is chilled. Got a different job, traveling to San Diego, Vegas, fresno etc.. on a remodel team for Food 4 less. Back in the fucking grocery business. Just got back from Ohio, Mom's dying from lou gehrigs disease. I would say only a few months. I am cool with it, better than being in pain. Everybody's gotta die.
Still found 35 caches with my cousin Travis. Mostly downtown Cincinnati, hit some hiking parks by the Ohio River. All muddy trails through the forest. Mostly rolling hills. A little bushwacking and stream crossings. That about covers it.
Plus, my sister now has her cannibus card. So, puffing all the way. I got some weed in Ohio. Dirty shwag shake "Pot" as they call it. That word sucks.
I love California and my Purple Monkey Balls.

Well like Psycho4Bud at 30 years old I married a bitch. At 40 years old now I divorced her.
I did not do anything special (Other than the divorce). But I encourage you to grab life by the balls and not let go!
It 40 I am richer and in better shape than I would have ever believed.
However you have inspired me. When I turn 45 years old I am going to buy a dragster and rip down the quarter mile.
Sky diving is fun. If you want the ultimate rush after you have some jumps under your belt do a night jump. It is totally illegal in most places. The fun part is you cannot see where the ground is and you need to pull your parachute before you hit it.
Let us know how it works out.

I love these to quotes on aging...
I intend to live forever, or die trying.

I'm 45. My next milestone'll be half a century. But I like the way I'm aging and I'm healthy and happy, so it's all good. I worried a lot more about aging when I was in my 20s and 30s than I do now.
I remember my 30th birthday. Some friends had a surprise party for me that wasn't a surprise, and it got fairly wild because some of us ended up in the hot tub without clothes at the end of that night. (I won't mention any names. Margaritas were involved.) Seems like I was hungover until the next birthday. Sky-diving would have been a better idea except that I'd have died of a heart attack the minute I stepped out of the plane.
You're not getting older, Friendowl, you're getting better. Thirty is a sexy, sexy age.

They say your 30s are the best years. Your body is still relatively young and you have enough life experience to be wiser and slightly less reckless than when you were in your 20s.
Personally, I'm inclined to agree.

We wish we were 21 again too. Sadly, it won't happen.
If you have decent insurance, I'd say use it and save up for some procedures that would make her feel younger again. Maybe she'd like her boobs done, or her tummy or maybe her eyes or a mini lift. Sometimes, if you feel old, it starts to show. Do things that make you feel younger: even if it means calling in a doc. Other stuff can wait.
Like I said, if you are in a position to consider that. You'd be a happier man I think.;)

I'm 28 going on 29 this summer... I've been thinking ALOT about what it means to be 30 now... I still feel like I'm 22 or 23 though and when I look in the mirror I still look like I could be in my early/mid 20s... I just dont see myself as being '30'... Well, I still got 1.5yrs to go so who knows, maybe I'll get killed before hand and never know what 30 is like!!

44 and loving it, life is good but, it did not get good until I quit drinking, smoking cigarettes and doing hard drugs.
When I turned 30 I was strung out on heroin and not very social so there was no party for me. I hade a better 39th birthday party than any other in my life. I got laid with three different women that day & night and two of them were at the same time.

I'm 40 and having more fun now than I ever had. My new years resolution is to not go to work stoned EVERY day. I play much harder now than I ever did and worry about a lot less. At some point I just stopped caring about what other people think and just started taking life on my own terms. When I do something it is because I want to, not because I think someone else wants me to.
Stay active and life will treat you much better.

I got strung out on sniffin powder when I hit thirty, and played hide and seek in a crack whores ass, lol! Lost a couple years between then and now, and at 36 I feel great! Made some money, lost some money, but it was all a beneficial experience, save the wasted years being strung out.
FO, why don't you take a road trip somewhere really cool? It beats free falling to your death, and it beats getting FUBAR, imo. On my 40th, I'm going to Yosimite, or Yellowstone with my kid. I'm getting too old to be as reckless as I once was, lol!
