I got a color pencil drawing kit with other drawing assessorys from my step mom who wants me to draw. I haven't drawn in 15 years!

All my other gifts were good this year, one year I got that stupid singing bad to the bone bass! needless to say he now r.i.p. hehehe

I didn't get any bad gifts this year. Usually my grandparents give me the ugliest clothes ever, but this year they got a normal sweater I have been wearing for the past few days.

I got a box of candy canes from my grandma....that was pretty weird.
Oh and a $5 gift certificate at mcdonalds from my uncle. The day before xmas he was over at my house and as I left to chill with my friends he asked me if I was going to come back for dinner. I replied that most likely not (because I was going to be stoned!), and continued by saying I fucking hated McDonald's gross ass food. Anyway he said he was anxious to see my reaction upon opening my present the next day. It was all shits and giggles :jointsmile:

LOL were you like those kids on that comercial, where its video clips of kids freaking out because they didn't get what tyhey wanted? lol I'm sure you didn't freak out like that but, still that comercial is funny, but in the same instance if I had kids like that the next year x-mas would be cancelled! lol

last year my dad got me this shirt.........man you guys should have seen it, it was a button down short sleeve, with to begin with pisses me off, if its a button down shirt, it should never have short sleeves. secondly, its a maroon base, and it has these funky ass leaves all over it. its sort of like a hawaiian shirt , without the hawaiian part. man, that shit made me cringe, im a pretty simple dresser, jeans,flannel, boots, and a ball cap, thats usually a bout it, and my dad KNOWS this. sometimes i wonder about him.

but this year he made up for it, he got me a nice sweater , a bunch of socks(always a must) and a wicked new scope for my rifle

Two weird gifts that i got were a duct tape wallet and a laser pointer. The duct tape wallet was a dud because i have a $200 leather gucci wallet (fosho) that i have had forever. And the laser pointer......they got boring in when i was in 5th grade. But now i carry it around when we are baking, and use it as a bake-o-meter, because if the car, room, watever is smoking, you can see like a line of the laser. The more bold the line, the more baked the room. (If that makes any sense at all..im baked right now :jointsmile: )

actually like i said, i didn't really get jack shit.. i got 100 bucks from my wife (which is for all practical purposes, my own money, i just got to 'waste' it on whatever i felt like with no reprecussions) and 25 bucks from my grandma.. so it wouldn't bother me quite so much...

One of the hostess gifts I got for a Christmas cocktail party we hosted was a little set of two small crystal bud vases and two little wire stands. Bud vases like for a single flower bud, only they look like test tubes in a stand. Not my style, either the shape of the vases/stands or the minimalist idea of displaying only a single flower of some kind.

I'm pretty sure it was re-gifted on me. My opinion is that giving decorative items, even small ones, for Christmas gifts is a mistake unless you know a person and his/her taste very well.

I wouldn't mind an Itunes giftcard. I hate the programs I use to download music for free. It's slow, unreliable, and fills my computer, that I'm cleaning all the time, of crap and viruses. I'd take Itunes in a second. Just log in, find your shit, bam boom, downloaded.

I usually get stuff I like. From my grandma, just some chocolates, which is good. From my cousins, some more chocolate, and from my 16yr old cousin, she got me thjis huge ass candy cane. I mean, the fucker is almost 2ft in height. :p I'm still working on it.

From my bro and his wife, they got me a electric shaver that I really needed. I have started shaving again. :o

From my mom, a fancy guitar pick box. It's handmade from redwood, and has a hand carved guitar on the front. She also got me a digi. metronome. It's for keeping time when I play guitar.

From my dad, a little guitar statue of a semi-hollow body electric. I always wanted a real one, so he got me a little one for shits and giggles. Along with it was a 60yr anniversery Fender tin, with 36 picks inside. I'm a musician, if you haven't figured that out.

And from my mom and dad, they got me a 20inch flatscreen, LCD TV. I was very surprised when I saw that, seeing as that my old TV kind of has a funny story behind it. Long story short, I partied with some people one night in a hotel and somehow the TV made it down the staircase sometimes during the night. :p In the morning the manager said I just bought myself a new TV. It had a huge crack all along the back of it and the color tube was shot. The color was normal, but there was no contrast left. Like if I watched a show or movie that had dark lighting, I wouldn't be able to see it as it would be black. It was a piece of shit but I watched it for a few years.

I was glad to get rid of that hunk of shit.

Overall, I had a good x-mas.
