That car sucks.

Why??? because it's not one of those modified rice burners??? that car shows talent and class,,,even if I don't like the body style I appreciate the craftmanship,,,it's not my taste but,,,it hardly sucks...

I for one would rather drive that than a modded honda any day. That car is the ultimate cruiser, twist up the kind and lets roll out people !

You can appriciate craftmanship of a steel boat even though its "not your style", but can't respect an expertly tuned Japanese import?

I mean, I also dislike kids who throw as much carbon fibre and rediculous body kits onto their cars, but i don't generalize all tuner cars with a racial stereotype like OMG teh ric3!!!

it's not a sterotype... most people just don't call them tuners, they call them ricers... it's just a name... anyone who takes offense to it, should really have themselves evaluated by a psychiatrist...

personally i think thats one of the ugliest(new) cars i've seen in a while, besides some of those new "futuristic" cars they got out that looke like boxes or shit

i like that big ass truck off XXX: State Of The Union

if not that my perfect car would be a black early '90s lincoln with all the chrome did up in gold, 15" daytons and 3" whitewalls, interior in black suede

'new car' maybe i'm missing something here..but that baby is not new... if there's something hidden in this 'foriegn' language please tell me, otherwise, that is a 'very old' car... just look at the body... new cars don't look anything like that...

Its not new...here's a little history

Of the Delahayes constructed after the war, this majestic roadster was probably the most epic. Built for the reemerging concours circuit, Saoutchik was responsible for its extreme body which borrowed styling cues from many other earlier cars.

Using the French curves of the thirties with more modern baroque ornamentation, Saoutchik conveys a sense of drama and movement with this design. With completely enclosed wheels, the cars best angle is its profile as the front has a confusing mix of elements that look like they came from different cars. At the time, the aggressive use of chrome was revolutionary and an emerging trend that the American manufacturers would go on to master.

this model included a much larger 4.5 liter engine, a De-Dion rear suspension, Dubbonet front
suspension, Lockhead brakes... <---look Masta just 3 dots :D

The first owner of this car, chassis 815025, was Sir John Gaul of England who brought the car to several European concours, catching the attention of the press and public wherever it went. In 1949, it won top honors at the Grand Castle du Bois de Boulogne in Paris, the Monte Carlo Concours and Coup de l'Automobile in San Remo...

I think its a pretty cool car it actually raises up and down when you get in it.

you read it wrong,,, I think rice burners are amazingly fast in the 1/4 mile and I am very intrigued at the horse power some of those 4 cylinders produce when tweaked...

Who cares about the car. Anyone else notice the kickass house designs at the very top of that page? They're like, cool looking and stuff. I want one! :)

Yeah, alright looking car. I'm more into muscle cars myself. I have a '67 Mustang in storage right now waiting for me to get it redone. I got the original motor started and it sounds so ballsy. I plan on keeping it that way but I want to customize the rest. I thought about keeping it original, but that would be hard and a long, expensive process to fidning each part.

Hi Nochowder and Miko...I thought the round homes were cool too they are located
along the north coast of Taiwan. The builder went bankrupt because the houses seem to grow mold and people did not like that because mold is not healthy!

There are more photos here if you are interested..:D

you read it wrong,,, I think rice burners are amazingly fast in the 1/4 mile and I am very intrigued at the horse power some of those 4 cylinders produce when tweaked...

i am to... one of my friends has a thing were he can plug his car into his lap-top, and read the rpms, horsepower, tork and speed... he only has a 4 banger... and its been tweaked alot... and hes added lots of mods... and i was looking threw his logs, after a race,(cause it shows like how much horse power he would have if he adjusted his carb to this point, and how much HP if he adjusted the turbo to here blah blah blah) and he it peaked at around 500 HP durning a 1/4 mile race......

but nothing beats a good old american muscle... and i actualy found a new car that i would love to own... a 1932 ford... and there are very few fords that i will ever own... but this the 32 ford roadster... is a bad ass looking car... with some fucking amasing speeds for the original motor, and the weight of the car...(the car is built mostly from steel) for fords i also want a 1979 F-100 with a 351 clevland...

Thanks for that link BlueCat. Cool photos. In a way, the buildings look better abandoned than they would if they were painted up and in use as a resort. Is it just me, or is there something attractive about living spaces that are quietly decaying?

By the way, I lived in Asia for years and am kind of surprised that these buildings are in Taiwan. Where I was, things were constantly in the state of development and redevelopment, and their idea of an old structure was anything that had been in existence over fifteen years.

I think the reason they were abandoned is because for some reason they got moldy and the mold is unhealthy...I agree with you there is something attractive about their state of decay.....I'd live there :D

I'm a GM dude mehself... I got a 71 chevy C10 longbed itching for my attention...

gotta love em trucks... especialy a good old chev or GM... i have a 74 half ton long bed chev with a 400 small block, just waiting for me to get a 350 to put in place of the 400 and then she will be waiting for a chevlle rear end, and transmission to be put in her... on the day she gets her read end, motor and trany put in her, will be the day she is re born in to a fast fucking truck... Big Blue is her name... and shes a tuff fucking truck, thats pulled things out of a few feet of snow, mudd, sand, and logs, over double her weight... and on one occasion, she even pulled a log truck, complet with a trailer full of logs out of a ditch...and shes been threw the deepest of mud holes, that ive seen trucks built for mud get stuck in, and best of all... shes only 2 wheel drive... and no lift kit... and weve owned that truck for 16 years now... and now shes in my hands...

anyways, i have a question for you, i know that chevys are known for there motors, and how dependable they are... but what they are not famous for now, is their bodys(how easly they rust) dose GM have the same problems? i know alot of people who will buy a chevy and a ford, just to stick the chev motor in the ford body...
