Storing weed in manilla envelopes?

Does anyone else get or have gotten their stuff in manilla envelopes? At first I was different about it, thought it might not weigh out, but it has and does. Will the paper my stuff was in collect a gross amount of thc and deprive my budd and my smoking experience?
It's just that I usually keep my main stash in the original bag, because I lack a stash box...

One of my "friends" gives me my stuff in a manilla envelope. Of course there is a plastic baggie inside that is sealed. I think its easier for him to deliver because he just marks the envelope with what is inside.

get it in glass jars asap
if it is just in paper some of the trichs will rub off plus it will get too dry and turn to dust

If you're going to store in an envelope, at least put it in a baggie first.

I store my herb in glass jars. Keeps it fresh and delicious for weeks on end. You just have to be careful to make sure the weed isn't too wet, otherwise mold is at risk. That's why if my buds are a little dankish, I leave them out for about 12hrs to fully dry. I prefer my buds really dry. No risk of mold, and no worries.

Around here, some people store cannabis inside of envelopes because if they get pulled over, if the officer sees and envelope, he can't open it, as long as you say it is mail for the mailbox. They need a search warrent to open them, as long as there isn't an obvious reason that you're hiding illegal drugs in the envelope.

One of my guys used to do it all the time with small amounts. Small amounts I mean no more than a 1/4. A bulging envelope is too obvious, but for gram dealers, it's perfect.

If you have bud openly in a manilla folder it will become real dry....and that's defintley something you dont want, some shake.

Yeah just make sure its in a bag.

Yeah, my stuff usally comes in the bottom corner of a Windixie bag. (lol, right?) But its not air tight sealed and some shake gets out and about in the envelope.

Glass Jar? Like a Mason Jar? I know of a few places near that sell art supplies and they carry the mason jars with the metal lids, rubber seal. I'm guessing that if it keeps out mold and bacteria from getting at food, it'll keep my stuff in purchased condition.

keeping your skank in glass jars also increases it's strength, as your bud uses up the oxygen in the jar ,it produces more thc from inside the stems to intice insects to rub against the plant (in the wild) then pollonate others ,to combat it's fear of dying.
remember: plants are only human.
