my uncle, is screwed... got picked up after crashing his truck into a ditch, for DUI, this is his fifth one... just heard back from his lawyer a little bit ago, the lawyer managed to talk the DA down to five years, but my uncle didn't take it.... the absolute minimum is he's going to be spending the next 2 years in prison, but it could be as high as 10.... he's screwed...

sometimes the only way to learn is to suffer
maybe jail is the best thing for him
5 dui's is pushing it
sooner than later he woulda killed someone or himself
get some money for the books and wish him well

lol, i don't actually care about my uncle, i don't want anyone to go to prison... but like you said friendowl, he deserved it, eventually he WILL kill himself or someone else, because he didn't learn the first four times, and you can bet he won't learn his lesson on this one either....

you never know
all it takes is one lil moment of realization and bammm...
a knife to the throat or an erection on his spinal cord might change his mind
you never know......................................
if he had already had four dui's what was he doing on the road?

i don't think they ever took away his liscense in the first place... and even so, these dui's are spaced out over the span of my life, maybe a couple of years before my life (i'm 21) the last time he got out of prison i was about 14..

my grandparents are doing the stupidest thing ever... they're going to bail him out (he has court on like the 26th or something of this month) i can almost garuntee he's going to run... who wants to take bets... i'll give you 6 to 1 odds he stays and goes to court (this is a man that's went to prison 4 times now, spent more than half my life span in there, and says he won't go back)

Yup he's going home from the sound of it. They need to brand people like that with a big scarlet letter on the forhead. Let everyone else stay far far away from em.

you shouldnt let that fool take advantage of the old folks
old people have problems saying no
if i was you id hav e a lil chat with uncle fuck up
my granmas son is kinda like that but not into crimes
he dont work and just takes and takes
he was getting like 600-700 bucks a month from his mom [my grandma]
she would only get 800 a month and she would be asking me for cash
i confronted him and he swung on me [brave when drunk]
i hit that fool so hard that i thought i killed him
he was laying on his stomach not moving
if i woulda let him he woulda stayed taking all the money
he was like a bottomless pit
i hope your grandma leaves him be
cuz the bail bonds man will take your property

there's two problems with that... one, i have been talking to my grandma, i've been trying to convince her over and over again it's a bad fucking idea and he's going to screw her over... but she says she's only going to do it, if the bail bondsman will take HIS property in collateral, and the inital money being put up to bail him out, he has to cover in the bank and he will give her that money as soon as he gets out... i don't like the idea, i've warned her over him fucking her over once before, and just as i said he would, he did... but she's a grown woman, and for all practical purposes my mother (she's the one tha'ts raised me basicly since birth) the other problem is... i'm a 'pussy' back me into a corner and i'll fight for damn sure, or even put me in a situation where i feel threatened.. but i won't go instigating fights.. he's also a hell of a lot bigger and stronger (and unbelievabely, crazier) then i am...
i told her, and i plan on being there when she talks to the bailbondsman again, just to make sure... but i told her to make damn sure that if he runs it won't come back on her.. i told her to ask the exact question "if he runs, will any of it come back on me" and i will talk to the bailbondsman myself to make sure... if there's no way it will go back on her, then fuck it, it's his money, his property, as long as my grandparents aren't suffering becasue he did the crime and then wants to run from the time...
edit: he more than likely does have the money to cover his bail... before he was locked up he spent two years working as someone very high up in a chemical plant (not like ceo or anything... but he's definately not some entry level crew) he recently got a raise from 16 dollars an hour to just under 20.. i know he has the money in the bank, and so does my grandma, which is the only reason she's considering this.... i'm still trying to talk her out of it... i don't want to see anyone sit in prison or jail if they don't have to... but i dont' want to let anyone fuck over anyone else to get out of it, especially not my grandma (mother)

ok i just got off the phone with the bondsman, i called him back myself... my grandma faces no reprecussions if he runs... they just take his property, and that's the end of it.. atleast for us... for him however, he'll be on the run til he's caught... so ok, let them bond him out, it's his money that's paying for it... all i care about is my grandparents are safe

lol well i know he's screwed, in the last 6 months or so, texas has decided 'no more bullshit' and they are cracking down on drunk drivers, like seriously.... drunkness they may have let slide before, and just given you a ticket for (or the more extreme, had someone come pick you up, from the spot you got picked up at, not the jail/police station) they're throwing your ass in jail, and prosecuting to the full extent of the law... they're not fucking around here anymore, atleast with drunk driving... i'm still trying to convince my grandparents he's fucked... and going away for awhile.... .like any decent parent, they keep saying 'maybe' and hoping he won't.... but i know, and anyone else knows... he's going to be spending some time in there..

the drug laws are crazy in texas
actually, for the most part i think they're pretty fair.. aside from marijuana (of course, cuz i don't think it deserves a law against it... except maybe a law that reads something like "he who gives up his life, and everything in it, ignoring everything shall be imprisoned time and time again until he learns otherwise") i'm glad they're cracking down on drunk drivers... every night on the news, or every morning, there's someone else who was seriously injured or dead as the results of a drunk driving incident (then they cut to these 'cars' that are nothing more than a ball of steel, covered in a few spots with pain, and four peices of rubber underneath...)

Yah, gotta love all the drunks in this state eh. But I guess its the same everywhere. I know one of my mom's friend's dads is in prison for a very long time on his 4th or 5th DUI. Only thing was, this time he killed a baby, a kid and the mom. The only person surviving the crash was the father who was driving....personally, I think they should lock you up for a long time after you don't figure shit out the 3rd time. I mean, if you give someone 3 shots and they continually fuck up, they obviously aren't going to learn anything.
But yah, drug laws in tx kinda suck, the only one I care about anyway. At least its only a misdemeanor for having up to 2 ounces. It blows my mind, all the DUI wrecks/deaths and alcohol is still 100% legal. Yet the worst a stoned driver will do is go 30 on the highway on the way to mcdonalds, yet we can't have that shit.

Wow, 5 DUI's and he hasn't served time yet? He should consider himself lucky.
What's about to happen is unlucky. Who knows, maybe with some luck, he'll run into a judge on a good day and get only 2yrs, but 5 times, with a prick judge, and he'll get the book tossed at him.
Good things will not come out of this, but like it's been said, some people only learn by suffering, and jail might be a good thing for him.

well, he had his court date yesterday, don't know the exact details but from what it sounded like he's on probation... he's definately not going to prison tho... he got lucky... and even tho me and him have a mutual hatred, i didn't want to see him go back in there.... perhaps this was karma coming back to bite him in the ass for everything he's done to me and me not wanting him to go to prison (can't say forgive, i don't quite forgive him for it) kept him out of prison...
slipknotpsycho
01-26-2007, 11:24 PM
meh, ok ignore that now... my grandma didn't know what she was talking about... what she thought was probation is just the stuff he's gotta do for the bondsman....
he still may be going.

driving while fucked up basicly... driving under the influence lliterally, commonly refers to those who drink and drive.... although people under the influence of any drug can be charged... only diffrence is alcohol has a certain limit (take two shots and you're over the limit) you're allowed... where as any other drug, doesn't matter... take one small ass hit off a pinner joint and you can get a DUI
