Nice pics. I have never been up to Baldy. I have wanted to, but have never set a time aside to do it. I know the hike to the top is killer and has killed a few.
Just to let you know. My cousin is coming out again this summer (july) and he really wants to skydive. I told him if he did it, I would do it. Most probably do it in Perris. They have a huge place there. I already kind of priced it out. 215$ for a tandem jump. Almost 400$ for a freefall with a 5 hour class. I am not sure which I will do. If you wanna go, let me know. I'll start organizing it. It will be crazy. Late

bridge to nowhere 9 miles round trip
2 hour walk in each direction

ill be there at 730 am and start the blunt up
we will begin out stroll around 800

Imagine standing on the edge of a bridge with steep canyon walls rising above you. Your sweaty palms grip the rail, your throat is dry, and your heart beats so hard you feel it through your chest. You feel a rush as adrenaline surges through your body. Looking down at the raging water ten stories below, you hear the encouragement of your friends standing next to you as the countdown begins.

The road to the bridge was washed out many years ago, leaving behind a hiking trail approximately four miles long. This trail winds its way along a sparkling mountain river through the beautiful Angeles National Forest. The hike is of moderate difficulty and takes approximately 2 hours in each direction. Join us for this all-day adventure that encompasses more than just bungee jumping, it is an incredible day to truly enjoy the outdoors.

Equipment:

Bungee cords consist of hundreds of continuous length rubber strands encased in a nylon sheath.
Our bungee cords are approximately ten times stronger than the forces they experience.
All equipment for bungee jumping is rated at over 4000 pounds.
Each jumper wears two independent harnesses. A seat harness supports the waist, thighs and buttocks while a chest harness supports the chest, back and shoulders. Ankle harness jumps are also available.
Bungee America has no maximum weight limit. We are equipped to safely handle any size bungee jumper.
Instruction:

All trips include set-up, equipment rental and professional instruction.

Time & Place:

Bungee America is the exclusive operator of the only state-licensed bungee jumping bridge in California. Our bridge is located approximately forty miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles in the beautiful Angeles National Forest. Bungee America schedules trips every Saturday and Sunday. Overnight camping trips and weekday trips are available upon special arrangement.

Cost:

Extreme Package $165 Five jumps. Four jumps with body harness. Choose four from the following list: front dive, back dive, front flips, back flips and elevator drop. Fifth jump is with the ankle harness.

Supreme Package $127 Three jumps. First two jumps: Front Swan Dive AND Backward Plunge with a body harness. Third jump: Either body harness or ankle harness.

Twin Package $109 Two jumps. First jump: Front Swan Dive OR Backward Plunge with a body harness. Second jump: Either body harness or ankle harness.

Single Jump $69 One jump. Either Front Swan Dive or Backward Plunge with a body harness.

Fish Canyon to Fish Canyon Falls offers a splendid hike. The 80-foot, three-tier waterfalls is one of the very best in the San Gabriels, when in season. The sparkling creek dances and bubbles over boulders and is often graced with quite pools. Abundant sycamore, bay, bigleaf maples, alder, willow, and live oak provide refreshing shade in many sections along the trail. Lush ferns, poison oak, and other green plants create a tropical feel. In the spring you are treated with a fine display of colorful wildflowers. The rugged, chaparral-covered canyon walls rise steeply above you. Indeed, Fish Canyon promises you a delightful outdoor experience.

Kitchen creek falls..that sounds very familiar but can't say I've been. I'll look it up thanks! As for Cedar Creek sure, been there a long time ago..I should go back sometime now that you remind me.

Never heard of Mts. Baldy & Gorgonio, but I'm looking them up right now.
It says Mt. Baldy is the largest and steepest ski resort in So Cal?? I always thought Mammoth was. Anyway it looks fucking cool and I sure would love to hike it up and kick it on top for a night or two. Gorgonio looks like an amazing place too. And it's not even that far!

My friend I might just take you up on that challenge!
How long does it usually take you to get on top of those babies?

for gorgonio its good to get a good start
maybe around 6am
its also good to walk up about 3/4 way and summit in the early morning
for a nice lil sunrise bong fest

baldy is easy as long as theres no snow
to get up and back down takes about 8 hours

another good stroll would be to leave one car at baldy
start at heaton flat trailhead .hike up and over iron mt.
and climb the ridge on towards baldy and down to the car

I have been thinking about doing Gorgonio in July..
That would be cool to hike 3/4 of the way..chill, get high as fuck, camp and then summit in the morning.
