I have to rant. I live in central/south texas, where, in my opinion, we have some of the best drivers. I have driven MANY many many miles around this great country. I have been to about 35 states. Here are a few of my findings
Houston- Horrible drivers, spacing and flow is all wrong.
Missouri - PPL HAUL ASS, Generally don't give a fuck for law enforcement. 90 or nuthin.
Arkansas - Is that a bucket that woman is sitting on?
California - I am not impressed, i thought cali was all wicked and reckless. Wrong
New York - What a rat race!
Oklahoma - Most speed traps EVAR!
Colorado - "You came up the mountain pass....with THAT car?!"
New Mexico - You could hit a 4 foot bong, snort a line of blow off the dash, get road head, swerve all over the road with the cruise at 78mph...don't worry noone is around to see you do this.
Louisiana - Buying beer at 18 wasn't worth the road conditions.
Minnesota/Wisconsin - Most repetitive bridge sections ever. Fill in some of those damn lakes.

Also, driving technique. This is important. Alot of people have this misconception that the left lane is the "fast" lane. NO! The left lane is the PASSING lane. Grandma will cruise her lincoln at 78 in a 75 and think shes going 'fast'. So she gets in the 'fast' lane. However, the word 'fast' is relative. Bobby has been trippin BALLZ for the past 4 days. He is driving 'fast' to him which is about 85 with his radar lit up. Then there is me, smoking my joint, enjoying myself at 80. No talking to cops on this trip. I pull up alongside Grandma, and since my cruise is set so close, it takes me a long time to pass her when im on the right lane and grandma is in the passing lane oblivious to what the fuck is going on. Bobby is comin down he road trippin and has to shut his truck down from 85 to 75...which slows down traffic. I wish I had a pistol and a "Stupid Fuck" permit where i could just run those people off the road and take care of them so society doesn't have to live with them.

Please
-Stay in the right lane until you need to pass
-Stay out of the passing lane unless you are CERTAIN you are going faster than everyone else around you.
-If you see someone coming up fast behind you, get the fuck out of his way please.
-Drive carefully always. I'd hate to be out for a motorcycle ride and you kill me because you were on the phone and driving with your titty.

I consider every driver shitty where I live. Blocking passing lanes, slowing traffic to a standstill. I hope every driver read your rules, it would make commuting so much easier.

yea, most drivers around in snohomish, king, and skagit county, (in washington state)suck by my, and my moms standers...neither one of us realy care about doing 75 in a 55, with basicaly buckets of rain are being dumped on the winshield... and i dont care about passing in an no passing zone(my mom dose care) and i dont care about doing 120 in a car that wasnt ment to go over 70(a ford windstar mini van) yepp... im just crazy enugh to do 120 in a mini van, in citty limits, racing a honda civic... yep... i was high on weed... how crazy was that night you may ask....and i will answer IT WAS FUCKING CRAZY CAUSE WE ENDED UP BLOWING THE MOTOR, TRYING TO PULL A BROKEN DOWN TRUCK DOWN THE HIGHWAY!!!! AT 85 MPHs!!!!!!

i agree about the texas driver thing...i am from texas, and i must say....we always drive on the right unless we have to pass, we let you pass without honking or yelling, and even wave like we know you..on our one lane highways, which there are plenty of, we even let people pass by going onto the breakdown lane..we turn our blinker on with plenty of time for other drivers to see it and let us go..you dont see people with road rage..you dont see people riding the ass of the car in front of them..then again..everything is better (and bigger) in texas...yee haw!

to add to your list...

florida is a nightmare to drive in..for sure...
massachusettes is another place i wont drive...
hawaii..so slow and laid back....nice driving there
i agree about arkansas..that place just frightens me
georgia...i dont know what to say about it there...the back roads and such, the little highways..reminds me of a horror movie..

Central Texas here...

I totally agree about the roads in Louisiana, the shit people take on the mountain roads in Colorado, and especially the crazy fucks in New Mexico.

if you want to see the shitys cars on moutian roads...come to darrington, and we will go get in my buddys toyta camrary(the car) that he built a custom lift kit for, and put it on, cut out the wheel wells, and changed it from 4 lugs to 5 lugs... and put 32'' mud boggin tires on...

then of course there is the subru... that we take down to the river, and jump sand banks...

and of corse... the cutless oldmobile, that has no muffler on it, that has been driven were even lifted half ton 4 whell drive chevys with 350 SBs, and 454 BBs cant go...

and of corse the good old ford windstar, that had everything stock, that we used to hot box, and take threw the mud pits(until of corse, we blew the motor)

yea... those are all cars that are ment to be driven on the road, and you guys are just talking about taking them over a pass in calorado... we take our cars that are ment to be driven on the road... and take them off road... and beat the living shit out of them...

I can confirm that people on FL can't drive for shit. Same goes for GA folk. Back home in NC, there wasn't that much driving done in the mtns but when you did see someone else on the road, there was never a problem.

Another thing I hate other than the passing lane is people riding right up on someones ass going down the interstate. Braking 58 times in 30 seconds to keep from hitting the car its behind.

i think drivers in virginia suck...a car broken down in the BREAKDOWN LANE and traffic is held up for an hour just cause everyone passes at .0000003 miles per hour to check it out

Florida, worst drivers EVER. These fuckers will stack up four abreast going ten miles under the speed limit and there is no possible way to pass. I swear to god, living down there was the closest I ever came to commiting homicide.

...Everyone around here drives their own way really. IF there is a speed camera, the oncoming traffic will flash there headlights to warn you, so you can kinda get away with speeding on highways...[QUOTE]

its sort of like that... and the truckers will honk their horn a certian amount of times, to warn other truckers weather or not the weght staion is opend or not(and alot use their CBs, to tell other truckers what highway to take, to pass a open weight station...

So true. Missouri right here. But yeah the annoys the hell out of me when people dont use the right lane for passing. Sometimes i stay in the right lane but thats only because im going really fast and im passing everybody. And if someone rides my ass and i am in the right lane i move over. Nobody knows how to drive it seems.
